I hear people talking about new dec. 18th rares,... What's that about?

Each year on the 18th December we have a special giftbox filled with different pets that have been released over the past years. You have a chance to adopt a few, and the pets you receive are randomly chosen. We do this to bring old and rare pets back into the active trading population - and also because it's a lot of fun seeing people freak out over getting a sunback or a rare pet from years ago ;) There are also the un-released pets, which are only released during the 18th, and so are very difficult to obtain.

It's a lot of fun, but make sure you don't trade away any of the pets you get that day until you're sure what their worth. Every year we get a lot of upset members who have traded away rare pets without realising it.

What animal will the reindeers be this year? Any guesses? ^^,

So far we've had Hamsters 2016, Bunnies 2015, Fennex Foxes 2014, Deers 2013, Cats 2012, Dogs 2010 and Horses 2009. We have had Butterfly Wolves 2011 -- though they weren't based on the Santa's reindeers and we only got Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on 2008 (Rat).

What haven't been done yet: Bat, Chameleon, Chicken, Draft Horse, (any) Dragon, Guinea Pig, Lion, Monkey, Pony, Squid or Unicorn/Zebra.

I'm personally hoping for lions or chameleons ^^,
Or new dogs (with PPS Rudolph), but I doubt that will happen.

I think it would be fun to have chickens! I surprising like the chicken line arts and would love to see an old animal get the reindeer spot light!

I'm guessing they'll be lions, but hoping for dragons!

I'd love to see some lion Reindeer, maybe Rudolph will be pps? o3o

all the reindeer litters in previous years have been quadrupeds so i don't think chickens, squids or bats are gonna happen - i also don't think chameleons bc idk... with the other lineart it was easy to make them vaguely resemble reindeer but that would be very hard with chameleons (unless pps version was used?) lmao (and possibly western dragons?? idk)

i feel like tess dragons maybe?? or pps eastern dragons or lions would be the most likely choices (i don't think they'll do draft horses or ponies as they've already done horses but who knowsss) but they also haven't done guinea pigs though hamsters were only last year and they're pretty similar so i honestly have no idea & i'm pretty excited! (unless they skip this year like 2011 kinda)

or really any of the dragons xD

And lions would also be cool.....
