Yeah. The german shepherd might end up being uncommon but I don't think the others will.

I'm not even sure the GSD will be rarer than the rest.

I think it's more the fact he looks like the Bannerdogs. I have seen a lot of people (including myself) who got more than one ^^

I got four of the headless dogs, and have been trading them off for people who needed swaps.
Also, funthing of the week, I was going like O.o, jokerfox?! and I got one *lol* Silly foxes.

I've seen at least one more..?

From the free items I also got a different kind of drool item, that kind of one which was dripping out of the dog's mouth.
Altho, it doesn't seem to appear in my collection anymore? .o.

That tailmouth item changes to suit the pet you're putting it on. Try any other pet other than a dog, and see if it changes! :3

As for the drool... O.o Odd. Have you checked your "all" tab in your items? Might be buried in the items somewhere.

They change to fit the curled and stub-tailed dogs, EPPS/PPS/Adult cats, rats, foxes, and b-wolves too. c:

Yeah, I've nearly all pets from today adoptet, only the sleipnir is missed :( but I like them so haha :'D
