I got a trade from someone who (probably) lied about something (a sob story, basically) and they were trying to give me a recent Advent rat for my 2008 rare/very rare December 18th dog. By the looks of their default pet group, they've got quite a few pets from the 18th...

I'm right there with you on this! That guy is gorgeous and he's the first real "dreamie" I've had since 2013. The colour scheme is beautiful.. And it's only in the past two years that URs having edits was a more common thing, I'm personally super happy to see one without, I love seeing how artists get creative with the regular linearts. *_* So happy with him!!

I'm so disappointed with my pets tbh first year back in a long time and I didn't really get anything worth their salt.. probably gonna end up trading them away pretty quick

I just wanted to point out that rabbits and bats are not rodents. Rabbits are actually lagomorphs, and of course bats aren't rodents (I saw you had a cage in your other post).

Def. understandable to not like them, everyone has their preferences, but not rodents-!
