I have three (Well two, two pets are in one hoard) hoards from this event !

My first Uncommon and Rare hoards too

the BW I have 30 of and the brown castle dog and the lair dog

Agreed. All the furniture pets went rare probably because they were the hardest to get I believe. (Well, at least I found them hard...)
Did any of the event pets even turn Common and under?

I prefer designs as well. I was just very surprised since a lot of people were saying "at last one will be OMG So Common" and "A few Uncommons and maybe a rare"

Yep, Lots. I was just happy that the designs are so beautiful especially the Star Dog { Or whatever they call it. } I really had fun on this event though.

There IS a lot of rares out of all the pets though, I think there is a lot because if you think about it millions of users went away on holiday where they didn't want to be on team caffeine and rather enjoy their holiday and relax.

I think they made a whole bunch of these pets rare, and the rest uncommon, because of the fact that they never put an ending to the GIANT battle between Nightmares and Dreams. They just want to distract us from what they didn't do.

Pets are given their Rarity on the number of the pet on the site Verses the amount of active accounts. So they didn't "Cover Up" or "Distract" us from anything.

you need to realize how many people kept 50+ tokens the rarity has nothing to do with covering anything up, it is purely based on number of pets and users on the site

It is a simple mathematical calculation, you cant but biases on it.

for example a simple way to determine rarity is this (total number of a particular pet/total number of users on the site)

I think cs goes into the "users" even further as from what I understand they use total number of active users

there are massive calculations in determining rarity of a pet
