Does anyone know what type of pet the new babies are? They look like otters to me

They appear to be something totally new. I haven't been able to find any truly accurate match-ups between any of the other baby stages. If anything it might be western dragon lines, just very heavily edited.
As for species, they do seem to be otters or at least some type of weasel. They're completely new so no one really knows for sure.

The pets don’t get added to the archive until they are fully grown. None have fully grown yet!

Hanukkah starts on the 18th, I was wondering if we weren't getting anything this year?

I went to go get the OMSR and very rare gift but its saying I already adopted one of the pets, and I never did? Is this a glitch or is it random if you even get something from the gift? I read around and couldnt find anything on this subject
