No, you don't get any pets or items, it's just for fun as far as I know.

That arcade game doesn't do anything but load a plain purple page. Is it supposed to do that right now, or is it just likely my older tablet? If it's my tablet, I will have to try it on my phone.

It takes a while for it to load, I had this issue initially. If your tablet is older it may take longer.

Is there a way to disable the glitch effects on the collectible tokens? I am aware that there is a way to disable the glitch effects for the webpages, but there doesnt seem to be a disabling effect for collectibles and the trade-in screen.

im gonna be looking at this stuff 2 times an hour minimum while i collect tokens, and if it gives me a migraine every time then im going to have a bad time,

Since the tokens are technically items, there is no option to change how they appear. If you are on a desktop or laptop however, there is a way to block the images themselves so they appear "blank". There usually isn't a banner counter for summer events, unless that changes this year ^^
