i've read a few posts on here and made my own observations, so far seraphine seems to be the culprit, i have a gut feeling about it. she went missing at nearly the same time cirrus did and returned a day later, i think, claiming to have lost her way but somebody remarked that even though she's a new recruit, she knows her way around the forest and she's reliable about it (i think that was moose, correct me if i'm wrong) so it's too odd that she got lost like that. not to mention she found her way back days before cirrus returned, she probably meant for her to stay there since cirrus had food from camp to eat in the forest. also the whole situation with the altered trail signs just points towards her, maps and neon paint in her place used to lead investigations to a dead end? and the red glowing eyes in her background don't look reliable, is she acting like they aren't there? mason says that she insists she doesn't believe in cryprids but she could be playing dumb.

also the fintastic board is fishy (pun intended). it was in the lake during daytime with two figures on it, later it turns out that it belongs to one of the glampers. undercover cryptid maybe; possible accomplice in the kidnapping? maybe they turned up at the grounds to kidnap cirrus themselves or they gave the boat to seraphine so she could take cirrus far away, where her bracelet was found. and there was something big in the water underneath the boat that day, possibly a cryptid that helped with the kidnapping.

That could work, plus cirrus made a fire, and seraphine didnt see it, plus my clues say we found most likely her hair stuck in a sign or something, plus most people would see it as "oh they got kidnapped too so they can't be it" so they get ruled out immediately

I came to mention the same thing! Seraphine is looking very suspicious. I'm not sure how the Fintastic is connected. I'm not sure who could've been using it since we know it wasn't Seraphine. sounds believable. if you're talking about the orange fur, she only has orange in her hair not her fur but maybe i'm looking too far into this, mason has orange-ish streaks in his fur but they look more yellow than anything and andrea is out of the question so seraphine is the only suspect that fits well enough in this case. and yeah, the disappearance is definitely a cover up, i think she just dealt with cirrus during that time and then came back claiming to have gotten lost. i missed the part where seraphine didn't see cirrus' fire but she could have played dumb again and acted like she didn't see it. also ' If it's true that something in the woods was responsible for the kidnapping then we'll need to warn people who are using the forest of the dangers' in seraphine's current comment could be a way to scare visitors out of the forest for good.

hmm.. i've been reading the past couple pages and i think you guys are right - seraphine is really suspicious. but why? why would she kidnap somebody? does anybody have an idea on what the motive was?

maybe thats how she deflects the suspicions of her going through that trail, by observing her surroundings and connecting them to whoever has knowledge about it

lunu says that no one from the lake has anything to do with cirrus disappearing but what about a glamper? they could've used the site to get closer to cirrus. and i completely forgot that cirrus was made to walk all the way to the cave, seraphine could've gotten on the boat with an accomplice who would bring her back to the lakefront. either way the boat is very suspicious, the loch tess sign the berries found looks like confirmation to me that somebody tampered with it so people would be unaware of what lives in the lake, very likely seraphine had done that to hide the loch tess which currently is the only possible thing that could've been underneath the boat. seraphine, the loch tess and someone else might be in kahoots with each other. maybe she targeted cirrus because she's the most vulnerable counselor on the lakefront? everybody else has some sort of survival skill while she has artistic skills only.

I was supposed to be watching the Firewatch Tower while Seraphine was gone... but I fell asleep because I stayed up too late researching. I think Seraphine was still gone when Cirrus made her fire, that's why the Green Cabin saw it first!

My photos show the fur from the cave. It seems pretty clear to me that it doesn't belong to me or Seraphine. It's more of a plain brown.

I heard something about cryptids showing up at Camp Smoothie and the Firewatch Tower... though they haven't come to the Ranger Station yet. Perhaps it was one of them who did this, and now they're trying to trick you! I definitely think the glampers got the message that the forest dwellers don't like their disregard of the rules, at least. I saw Cirrus and some other campers cleaning up today!

just wanted to point out something abt the “loch tess” sign — it doesn’t mean the name of the monster, but the name of the lake. “loch” means lake in gaelic, so the sign says, “lake tess.” it’s kinda like the whole frankenstein monster mix-up lol. it’s not FRANKENSTEIN who is the beast, but HIS monster; and in this case (likely), it would be the loch tess MONSTER (a CS version of the loch ness — or lake ness — monster). just trying to keep things from getting confused! :3 don’t want ppl to be going down the wrong trail of thought thinking that sera or someone tampered w the sign to hide the existence of the monster, as the sign wasn’t directly stating the name of the beast itself. if that makes sense?
