2024 Summer Event: Pet, Item & Event Discussion

Am I the only one that loves the Love Letter item so much, I don’t want to trade it in 🥹 I only have one, too. The outcomes were adorable but I didn’t LOVE them as much as I’d hope, and now I wanna keep my cute item haha ❤️

Thanks admins for all of the adorable pets and items!!! I’m so obsessed with so many of them, they’ve become some of my top favorites!

I think Flux and Major might be one of the few times that the NPCs weren't pre-existing pets and were released as part of the end of the event (the only other I can think of was Internet Cthulhu two years ago.) At least, I think so- can't remember where Mason's pet last year was from (I will admit that the mushroom rabbit Penny last year was the only NPC I've actually recognized as a Pet I have.)

I get it, it's cute. If you haven't hit the new banner limit there's still a chance you can get another one.

I feel like iirc the desert tess sitting cat wasn't an already pre existing pet prior to the event.

Also, anyone else bummed we could only get one pronghorn?? They were so cute! Sad there wasn't a chance to get multiple

Yeah it's really cool! I think the 2016 space event had some NPCs that were new and tradable at the end too, particularly some of the pets done by Lillian Nightshade and sketchi iirc

Yeah, I was kinda thinking that there'd be more towards the end of the event. I guess they're gonna be rare (I mean, just from the fact, there's only one outcome, not the pet rarity itself. I have no idea how rare that's gonna be).


On a different note:
I was hoping to get more of the cute ponies from the pony npc today. Don't get me wrong, I love the horses we got as well, just...those ponies are so cute on top of looking nice! ^^

I’m pretty annoyed the bears take 4 ingot tokens because you can only trade in for 3 ingot tokens at a time which means you have to trade 6 tokens for a 4 token pet. If you don’t need anything else with ingots you just wasted 2 tokens?

I thought that sucked too. You might be able to trade with someone who needs an extra ingot or two.

This can be solved with community working together. It's the same for everyone, so if some people offer these extra ingots for mail swap, they get rid of their extras and the two others won't have to get all 3 when they trade for just one

and this would be a bay roan, red roans are chestnut roans and would not have dark mane/tail/legs.

I'll give the colors each of mine are based on c: You pretty much got them!

- Palomino
- Buckskin w/ tobiano (with a white booster gene like W20 likely)
- Flaxen chestnut w/ frame (you can call flaxen chestnut sorrel, the name varies by region/breed/discipline. Additionally, this kind of frame phenotype often has other white spotting genes such as sb1 [sabino] giving the boosted white and feathered edges)
- Bay roan
- Black w/ splash white
- Liver chestnut
- Grulla w/ frame
