How are people getting these machine dogs?

I can’t seem to find it

They're from the new trade-in on the Chickenpedia page.

How do you get the grid background item? It's not where the ourcomes thread says it is...

Some of the free items disappear the day after they're released. They do tend to re-appear toward the end of the event though.

how many tokens are the items from nicks box worth? i just traded one of the robot dogs from today (which is one nick's box item to get) for 5 event tokens

did i get tricked or was that a decent deal?

I don't think any have fully grown up yet. We may not know for a while. Definitely stock up
