Blue eggs love me to death, apparently? I am pretty sure at least 70% of the eggs so far were blue ones.

Anyone have a tip on how to summon a squid? Do I need to sing a song or something before clicking the banner c;

You'll need five objects to summon squids. Folklore tell us only of four:
Almighty Tess, the creator
Simon, the squid herder
A bottle of ink
and a Splatoon disc.
The fifth element, however, remains a mystery. Some say the answer is known only to Fishraham the Wise, last seen in the distant and most ancient year of 2012. I wonder if anything is hinted at in the scripture of the holy bubble...

Update: Singing proved useful 1/3 times so I wouldn't rely on it.

Looks like the requirements for summoning squid eggs now include a small sum of money, to bribe Simon into standing still long enough for the summoning to work.
Maybe a picture or autograph works, too. I imagine it lowers the chance of success, but it may be worth a try.

I seem to have less pink eggs than any others myself, but I'm not gonna complain about the amount of blue I get. I /am/ tempted to hoard them. Just a few, maybe if I find a nice pet to put them on^^

Unforunately I'm not going to trade in as much tokens as last year, because I'm trading them for offsite stuff. Though I'll keep a few, I can't wait if they come out with any type of deer. The free gift this morning was really cute, hope to get some pps buns!

Should i save all my eggs till the last day or spend them throughout the event?

what i do is get one of each as they're released, and spend my extras on the pets i like when the events is over

I just can't understand how people collect Tokens and trade them at the end of the Event

For the past number of years I keep all my tokens until the end. It's really not too hard, all the token trade ins remain until the end.
Plus I collect all my tokens on a specific pet chosen for that holiday so it's kinda fun to see them all stack up tbh.

Unforunately I'm not going to trade in as much tokens as last year, because I'm trading them for offsite stuff. Though I'll keep a few, I can't wait if they come out with any type of deer. The free gift this morning was really cute, hope to get some pps buns!
