Ugh, the bridge is taking so long to repair

Anyone have any idea how long it could take? I'm just sitting here putting random stuff on my pets, waiting for something to happen.

I'm trying not to fall asleep in my chair waiting for the bridge X3

I don't even know if it's worth waiting for now. I went to sleep last night thinking that I'd miss out on the first 2 hours or so of beyond-the-bridge pets, but woke up disappointed.
This event is just filled with random waiting times, probably to give people some time to get some candy. ...I'm so hungry xD
