The outcome you get from the box is "set in stone" so to speak, from the moment you adopt the pet. In the same way that you cannot get non-rare outcomes from mixed litters on the 18th, if you adopted the pet from the R/VR box, it's pre-determined to be a r/VR outcome

Still have yet to luck into an UR myself, but at least I got a WL rare today!

2009 VR? Pretty good. Pony? Not so good. 2009 VR pony? *shrugs* Your guess is as good as probably better than mine.

Rabbit I don't have really strong feelings about either way. I did not know that "old" went up to 2017. This is the newest old I have ever gotten.
