if i were to make a comprehensive guide of the cs events what information should i include?

as a newbie what would you have wanted this thread to talk about because there is no real guide for events that explains the nuances of cs events that seem like common knowledge. no matter how stupid the question may seem to a “veteran” cs player please let me know because these “stupid” questions are often questions lots of newbies have for their first event

How banners work including banner caps. What kinds of things are given away (token items/pets, freebies). I had no idea you got stamps from these events. I've heard that they add things partway through, typically? How long the event goes. What to know before you start trading stuff. Oh! And that new things get added each day.

Those are my of the top of my head thoughts as someone going through my first event.
