2024 Advent Event - Casual Chat

This will be my first advent year that i can look forward to!! The halloween event helped me get in the spirit for October, so here's hoping this month is even more jolly! Something about CS holiday events that just are pure silly fun that help my mood

I don't know what's more frustrating trading wise: Not having and thus, looking for the same pet everyone else is looking for therefore it being a nightmare to try and trade for it or actually having the pet everyone else is looking for but only having one of that pet that your not willing to trade away therefore making it a nightmare to find people looking for any other outcome and having the one you're looking for just so you can complete your collection of that drop.

That reminds me, usually i dont bother with advents like every other year, only logging in for the 18th so i can get the december 18th boxes but because I missed december 18 completely last year (as in, I didn't remember the Dec 18 boxes until it was almost the 19th when rollover had passed already) I have decided to actually check cs daily this year as chances of missing Dec 18 when I do that is generally lower (I managed to not miss it the year before but i realise im not the most reliable with remembering it like that). Also I mentioned this in another thread but a funny fact is that every time I have missed Dec 18, they changed something about it or added something new; Like 2019, the first time I missed it was the first time they split it into multiple boxes. And last year was the year they added the item box. It's kinda frustrating checking back in on Dec 18 the year later and finding out they changed it (I went into 2020 using the strategy one would back when it was still a singular box and got jumpscared HARD by the multiple boxes) but still kinda funny how this has happened to me twice now.

On a side note my anxiety is on high alert. I've managed to get every pet this year. I know the 18th will release those special release rare pets they always drop and I never get. (Like a certain dragon I think it was last year) and I can't remember if those count against you having the whole years pets.

They count. I've collected every pet since 2020 except for the URs every year. Those I'm missing, which means I don't get the checkmark :c Oh well.
