I dunno if this would be valid, but the items that we’ve gotten today from the fire rangers thingy kinda tell a bit on what may be happening imo.

We’ve gotten agate and witch stones which both have deeper meanings. Witch stones usually are said to ward off witches or evil, agate symbolises harmony and rebalance.

A theory I am proposing is possibly, the supposed cryptids are reclaiming the land for themselves (the camp unknowingly or purposefully built on their land? not sure) and are trying to get it back to that harmonious balance.

I dunno it was a very very quick theory with something so little, I just like making little things but I feel like the items will possibly have a part to play….

edit: unrelated note, a friend brought up that agate also sometimes forms from volcanic rock, so could there be a chance of an underwater volcano?

Would definitely be an idea to look into the items... especially with them being in the place Seraphine is missing from. The little pebble/rock towers that we get from them also often are left on trails for navigation, to show that you're following the correct path... Maybe Seraphine and Cirrus were led away from the camp unknowingly?

i agree, i do think the items must have a place somewhere in this whole mystery?? the trinkets are kinda sus. also because its from the fire tower, too

Hmmm, I'm thinking there might be multiple creatures... The pair of eyes near penny reminds me of the hide-behind. They're know to live in forests, be sneaky, and well... not be very nice. Maybe this one is just lonely?

Ouu maybe multiple... especially with two people missing and theories that could lead to different cryptids. Does anything that's been mentioned so far seem like that?

It hasn't been mentioned in the official event, but users have noticed a Nessie-esque outline in the lake. The eyes behind Penny and the eyes at the watch tower are different. It's early days, but I'm thinking there has to at least be two creatures.

with the lake, the red eyes, and the white eyes, im thinking nessie, the mothman, and the hide-behind respectively. also bigfoot bc there HAS to be bigfoot in cryptid talk. this first batch of clues isnt TOO helpful but i think thats the point

also to add onto the volcano theory, we also got smoky geodes which also come from volcanic rocks when they cool. I feel as if the underwater volcano theory may be something also to look into, but its not certain.
