its random. every 30 minutes you look around the forum and find the banner that says claim your prize, and you get a candy. according to nick, the type of candy you get is random. ^-^

Yeah. xD So far I've gotten 20 pieces of candy, and only one of them has been a ghost! x.X

You have the same chance of getting either one of them when you click the banner.
I've done numerous trades looking for the ghosties from people who can't get anything but them. lol
I could have also misread it somewhere. Because I can't think of where I read that. :/

I *think* you are mis quoating him. If I'm correct, what he said was that every page has an equal chance of giving each type of candy. As in, the "adoptables" thread is just as likely to give you each piece as the "trades" thread.

But not that the candies themselves are an equal probability.

That's what I understood from what he said, too. Some people are getting lucky (definitely not me, though), but for the most part, if you look on the candy trades thread, the majority of the people posting are seeking ghosts.
