Where can you get the new pets?

They're all over the event page! Click around and explore, you'll find a bunch of things to collect. c:
The trade-in areas so far are at the Vapor Arcade and Tweeter.

Is there a way to disable the glitch effects on the collectible tokens? I am aware that there is a way to disable the glitch effects for the webpages, but there doesnt seem to be a disabling effect for collectibles and the trade-in screen.

im gonna be looking at this stuff 2 times an hour minimum while i collect tokens, and if it gives me a migraine every time then im going to have a bad time,

Is anything on the image on /internet supposed to be clickable? I'm being told it is, but it's an uninteractable PNG for me.

EDIT: Nevermind, it was some weird consequence of a Stylish (extension) style I had loaded...? Turning that off has fixed the problem.

Unfortunately no, there isn't any way to disable the glitch effect on items. I have heard that you can block certain images from appearing on your webpages though, I'm not sure how to do it myself but maybe checking in this forum can help you find a solution?

Have you tried clearing your cache? That may help.

Nothing, as far as I know. No one's stated otherwise. It's just a little minigame for funsies, I doubt it'll be used for obtaining pets/items.
