"Your character gets lost in the cave! Write a short story about their adventure on their own."

Name; Feather

Feather had always been fascinated with caves, their findings, and their secrets that were simply lingering behind dust and gravel. For years ever since she was a pup, she would engross herself in studies of her findings of different kinds of crystals, rocks, and fossils beyond imaginable. Every chance she got she would take a trip to nearby caves and forests to discover secrets of what lay just beneath the surface. To find out that her summer vacation would be spent in a magical cave with mysterious secrets and portals had been something she didn't believe at first, but the second she found it she couldn't wait to find more and help out! Meeting new friends like Imbrie, Hadil, and Wollstone, she jumped right into her studies, finding everything she could to unlock the portal and learn everything about this magical cave. However, one day, Imbrie sent her on a chase to find missing journal pages, and using her nose and strong sense of scent, she began the hunt. Sniffing around, her paws dipping into mud and wet rock, she began to dig, finding new kinds of crystals she'd never seen before sparkling in front of her eyes, not minding the mess it took to find them, (sneaking one in her bag for safe keeping), while continuing her hunt. Yet as she continued, she slipped and fell into crevasse, slipping a few feet under the cave site. "Hello!" She woofed, desperate for help, not receiving any answer back. Determined to find her way back to the top, she clicked on her mining hat, light circling through the underground. Taking one step at a time, she soon stumbled upon sunlight, running to it eagerly to find her friends. Her emerald eyes blinked rapidly to find a completely different place, filled with mysterious forests and caves. Her face lit up with wonder and excitement, running around like a pup with her excitement. Rain clouds rolled through though, cracking thunder and lightning, as she soon took cover in the closest place she could find. And as she looked around frantic with what to do next, in that moment she had found cave paintings all around this beautiful bed of rock. Closely she studied the paintings, finding stories upon stories of prehistoric times, her tongue happily rolled out of her mouth to fill her mind with this discovery. She trips on a little carving though, to find a carved horse at her paws. Despite being lost, she felt like she was right at home. Deciding to snuggle up with her carving, she stared at the paintings excitedly, writing down everything she could to decipher it later on with Imbrie. Luckily, the portal had popped into the opening the next day, and Feather romped happily back to it, knowing she would find Imbrie on the other side! <3

I know they meant cave but I decided a night sky would be nice and my goal was to use a different brush the whole time! I did use the usual brush I use for the stars (added glow) but I'm not focusing on that. I'm a young artist, I'm still learning ^^'

My least favorite color is brown. I just.. ew. I hate brown so much. On its own, it's disgusting. It can only be used when with other more vibrant colors.
