this is funny because it's so true. yesterday when i was handing out candy teens not wearing costumes kept coming by and i begrudgingly gave them candy while thinking of this

The trade in hate me. I got 5 scorpion boxes during the event all 5 were the green one. Still no gold and I keep getting the orange stuffing dog pps when I'm trying to hoard equal numbers of each gah!

Might give up on the boxes and just keep my remaining tokens as items for dress ups. I always keep one of each anyway

Man this year was not a good year. I didn't get a single banner pet and I have been so busy with school that I wasn't able to get enough tokens for all the pets. I need 5 more token pets, but I only have 1 spare token pet

Well after a lot of wheeling and dealing I managed a full set of the halloween pets (and items!) Including stalking people randomly through the forum active users list to FINALLY track down a black bat XD That 1 single pet was the hardest thing to track down a copy of XD I swear everyone and their mother seemed to either have missed out on it or only gotten 1 copy of it XD

I really liked the pace of this event over previous years'. Most years have at least /one/ token trade in that you end up getting a bazillion times because its still growing and you gotta make sure you don't miss out on any outcomes. This year we didn't have that and even the "trade X amount of tokens for a random outcome" was subdued. Most of those were 3-4 outcomes. Really the eye-tems and the deer were the hardest for me to get token wise. Anyways I really appreciated the fact that I was able to take a slightly more casual approach to the event since I mostly didn't have to worry about trying to get a dozen different outcomes per box and/or stock up on a "growing" outcome from a box.
