so im picking botw up this weekend and now im torn between wanting to waste my whole week playing it or collecting eggs for the event. so conflicted--

Well... whole years back I gave cs$ for eggs... but in halloween time it was 1st time what I not offered $ but i traded older pets (common, uncommon, rares) and I had much more eggs than for $... about 50% more...
and cause I not have much cs$ now and I not want buy right now more just for eggs... I will try to trade only pets again... hope that members will have interesting
but it mean to send a lot of trades... cause ussually are accept like 3 trades from 10 (+-)
whew... at least start weekend xD

It's my first CS easter! Quick question - will today's easter prizes disappear when tomorrow's are put up or do we just get more added to the pile each day?

more get added to the pile you will also have extra time after the event ends to spend your tokens

Depends on how you like it best c:
Some people save up their tokens until the last few days, so they can decide what to spend them on after knowing all the outcomes/available trade-ins. The benefit is that they'll be able to budget their tokens better, since they don't have to worry about the next day's releases. It also means that since more pets/items are in circulation at that point, it'll be easier to find what's missing through trades. Can be especially useful with popular outcomes, since the hype tends to be strongest when stuff is new.
On the other hand, waiting for so long also means that swaps may be more difficult, since others will already have traded for what they needed. But it's not significantly harder.

It really comes down to whether you're someone who wants to get every outcome as soon as you can, or if you'd rather be patient and have a better overview over the entire prize list.

If you're resourceful, you don't have to wait til the end to spend them wisely. Just get the single-outcome things straight away, and look at the forums to see how many outcomes there are for mystery boxes, so you can try to spend the minimum amount and attempt swaps of your doubles instead of buying more and more to complete a set by yourself.
Then when you still have more tokens left at the end, you can spend them all on trade fodder or trying to get still missing outcomes.

The downside to spending tokens every day/right away is that it may mean you won't have the tokens you need upon a new release. You can also try to buy some things immediately and wait with others. For example, maybe buy all the things that need specific tokens as soon as you can, and then, once you have all of those, you can spend the rest of your tokens on the prizes that let you choose which tokens you use.

Ack, I tried my hardest to stay awake for rollover last night, but I couldn't do it, so now my adopts are at least 7 hours behind ToT

Both the token buns today are based on dogs I hoard, so I'm already debating whether or not to hoard them as well. Just my luck since I'm away this week aha

I don't think I've ever saved my tokens till the end. I've always thought it would be a bit pointless and stressful trying to get everything in the last few days.

Besides, I like to trade my excess tokens for WL pets or C$ during the event.
