Agreed! I love the pets, *especially* the new linearts we got, and the event is low-key which I honestly like. I don't really care about the story, I usually ignore it/get confused at some point and lose track of what's going on and then don't bother catching back up so that part doesn't really affect me. I just wish the tokens had been done better, especially the resort tokens.

Sadly, no. I'm still getting fruit and trees and one single chip since roll-over, though I haven't been on the ball with the banners as well as I suppose I could have been.

The pets are really interesting, I found myself gushin' over the lemur wolf guys when I first saw them cause I wanted a lemur the day before. I'm never that invested into story myself, and I wasn't even "complaining" on my behalf to be entirely honest, I had okay luck with everything at most (resort chips still allude me sometimes though). I lose track cause I can't be on everyday, mostly since things change from the day before and you can't exactly catch up then. I just feel bad for people with work and can't get the resort chips, they shouldn't have that big of a struggle with a token you can get every 20 minutes from a banner like they do.

Once I posted that I got a sapling, there goes my resort chip streak--just needed one more for a parrot bw too. I tend to wait a few minutes after the 20 minutes sometimes, whether it is due to constant refreshing or doing other things.

Also on the Egypt event, I couldn't say for sure about anything that happened cause I forgot, but it was pretty fun to do.

I feel kinda bad for the staff everyone is complaining about how boring it is and the tokens.
But honestly I thought it was better this year it was pretty chill. Last year the cs community was blowing up the thread and sacrificing half the staff XD
And when you think about it it's actually good it's hard to find the tokens if there's less tokens that means less pets and less of a pet equals higher demand Oooo
So maybe all the pets that need resort chips will be rares therefore y'all got some snazzy looking birdos rares

Oh yes, I wanted to ask before but was the Egyptian event that great? When I first joined the site, I fell in love with the pet designs and it was one of the first things I added to my wish list but it seems as if it was even more spectacular to have participated in it.

It really was. There was mystery, suspense, frustration, and intrigue as we all waited for the bar to fill up (by trading in map tokens) and the pyramid to open. And when it did, there were still locked rooms, one of which ended up being where Queen Cleocatra lived. She cursed the town with scarab beetles and we had to vote between her and the archaeologist, Archie, about whether or not to take her artifacts to a museum (she won the vote). And then people started shipping them. It was so awesome.

Oh man, this sounds great. Wish I had joined when I just heard about the site back then. Can't believe I just dismissed it. I'm surprised that the Candy event wasn't that popular. Really love the pets almost as much as the Egyptian and Space pets.

I'm a bit torn this evening. I've been trading in my resort chips on golf, but now Henry's running another of his scams (all-inclusive resort, my shapely derriere!) and I need to have a complete collection or the world will literally end. Buuut I don't even like the buttermacaws that much? And the new macaws are to die for. But collecting! Halp me, guys.

My favorite event was the Space one and none other has made up to it yet, there was so much togetherness in it, still not sure how that happened, but it felt awesome^^

I am quite surprised we just got another new 3-resort-chips-needed-for turn in today - how on earth should anyone ever get enough of those for all stuff they are needed for? I already skipped the cats from Henry because I do not have enough. But well, looking at trades I get a feeling I am not the only one^^ It feels very unbalanced, though there is probably a reason behind it admin-wise^^

Am very much looking forward to my 2 eggs hatching, hope they will be different, the grown up is SO beautiful! <3
