Question for Penny: Did you see Seraphine or Cirrus recently, or have any idea where they went?

I saw Seraphine last night! They were hiking and they had some raspberries. I think they were headed back toward the Ranger Station and Firewatch Tower.

I wonder why Seraphine was hiking there at night. Just to get a midnight snack, or to gather food for a trip perhaps...

Hmm, I wonder if there’s an important tie to the cave to be uncovered, since it’s mentioned a few times — especially seeing that there’s a campfire at the cave, and Day 2 had a story about a cave that says: “…there is a cave where it was rumored that a cavern full of glittering gems beyond your wildest imaginings lies hidden, waiting for an intrepid explorer to discover it.” — Mayybeeee there is a correlation between the explorer wanting to check out the inside? Where did Andrea find the rhinestones for Cirrus’ necklace that were similar to the rhinestones near the watchtower? And do the birds have a role to play in that since it’s shiny? Why were the shiny gems by the tower?

Is there a crossover of the ancient animals from the cave with the strange cryptic-like descriptions and experiences?

Along with @Palimpsest, I’m curious if it’s something from within or outside of the forest! What are some of the main native animals of this forest?
Has Mason had an experience with cryptids around this particular forest before? What are the most common cryptids Mason is familiar with?
Have any of Penny’s friends noticed anything strange lately?

I’m curious…if the missing individuals willingly left, why they didn’t tell anyone their whereabouts if they knew they were going to be gone for an extended period of time? And why was the firewatch relief not there if so?

Also, I’m dumbfounded at these Creamsicle hints 2&3:
“…They tell you that something tried to mess with their bear-proof bag, and it certainly couldn’t have been a bear. They point out the tree where they hung it from, and it is quite tall.”
“…When you reach the tree you see that there is another bear-proof bag still hanging in it. One of your cabin mates volunteers to climb up and bring it down. When they do you see that Cirrus’ name is written in purple permanent marker on the bag, and it has been opened and rifled through.”
Any thoughts on this, especially Cirrus being written on the bag? So interesting! Was it one of Cirrus’ personal bags, or did someone else write the name? Did Cirrus grab from it to go adventure, or did someone else tamper with it? I feel like I’m misinterpreting was there something else about a purple marker somewhere?

I support this idea! I’ll bring it to the other counselors. Personally, I don’t trust anyone outside of Camp Smoothie. I’m not sure if a creature is responsible or something else!

It was my first thought when I read that! I think we should ask Beryl questions before she (??) disappears

I saw the cave the Green Cabin is talking about, but my wings were getting tired and I wanted to make it back so I didn’t get to investigate closely. I think that we should go look there! I’ve seen Mason hunting cryptids with all his equipment in the woods, but if they’re there, why hasn’t he found anything yet? I think sometimes he convinces himself something is there that isn’t, just because he wants it to be true. I guess I don’t really trust him because he won’t consider other options. Sometimes we make the best art when we let ourselves be open to new things!
