I’ve been doing as much as possible to get tokens but I’m still behind. I am determined though so I’m not too worried yet.

Is there any way to see how many tokens I’ve gotten?

Unfortunately, no. Just add up what you have what yoh spent and anything you may have traded off.

What do you guys suspect the rarities of the event pets will be? Historically, most token trade-in pets turn rare, but one or two of the most popular sets become uncommon.

Im thinking the crystal trade in pets will vary a lot based on how popular they are. The axolotls will for sure be common+very common as I assume that’s what everyone will dump their leftover crystals into. There’s so many people hoarding them! I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one of the crystal trade-in pets became rare too. The rodents in amber seem the least popular of the bunch. And I have no idea how rare the crystal dig pets are gonna end up. Part of me wants to say common, but I feel like with the drop rates being so low they might end up uncommon. Last year, we had a banner item similar to the journal page, and the pet you got from it turned uncommon. I wonder if the red dinosaur will also turn uncommon, or if it will be rare?

Anyone else have any guesses?

Hmm, I feel like the mushroom dog/cat trade in token pets also have a good chance of going rare. They’re really cute but I feel like they’ll get overshadowed by all the prehistoric themed stuff. Maybe also the crystal dog? Like you, I see most people spending their extra gem tokens on the axolotl.

Long term it’s probably better to invest in the cooler stuff though, everything will turn rare eventually lol.

{I think most of the crystal trade-ins will be uncommon & the token trade-ins will be rare. It feels like the crystal pets are a lot easier to get compared to needing so many tokens for every try. Definitely think the energized crystal dino will be uncommon. Axolotls, commmon - uncommon at most, dig pets, maybe uncommon, it seems like people have gotten a lot of them. I agree with both posts above me xD}

I wonder if the cave hamsters will end up being uncommon/rare? Like yeah they’re super cute but hamsters in general tend to get overshadowed by bigger, flashier pets and there’s no other reason to go to the village except a few item freebies, which isn’t gonna draw near as much attention as a crystal trade-in or even free adopts.

i feel like the red dinosaur will probably be uncommon; if it's really the only pet that needs an energized crystal, then theres gonna be a looot of them once everyone trades in for them

im mostly just curious if the saber/dodo/elk/etc dudes will be uncommon, it seems like a lot of people like them so i could def see a lot of people trading in for extras (ik i will if i have spare tokens, theyre my faves from the event!!)

a lot of people seemed excited abt the parasaurolophus dogs and dinocats, so i figure those will be uncommon too maybe

Here’s my predictions:
For the token and crystal trade-in pets, the ones I predict will be uncommon are the glowing fungus creatures, axolotls for sure, some of the prehistoric set, and maybe the crystal horses, dino-cats or lions. I feel like most will be rare with some uncommons.
I also think the big dragon-dinosaur will be rare, the chances of it being uncommon or very rare are slim.
Crystal pets could be anything from common-rare, most likely uncommon.
For the free pets, I’d say uncommon at most, free event pets tend to be common or uncommon.

I’m looking forward to seeing if that dragon is going to be rare or uncommon. On one hand, it seems like most people that post in these threads have gotten at least one if not multiple journal pages one way or another (although that’s probably investment bias at play here). On the other, it seems a fair amount of them aren’t turning most of their pages into dragons, instead collecting one of each item in the journal chain or hoarding the crystals/journal pages for decoration.
