2021 Summer Event: Casual Chat

Anyone else struggling to get tokens? I'm falling behind worse than usual... like I'm missing pets from day 3 for crying out loud! I'm not checking every minute I admit, life n all but... its a wee bit stressing. (And all I got for trade are outside everyone already has by now.)

Christmas 2014 has over 150 pets but only has three pages for some reason! There's like 50 pets on each page lol. There's a decent amount of events recently that actually have over or near 100 pets put only have four or less pages so I guess they must not like to have five pages?

{it's because the archive is done in "groups"! So each group of pets that are released together are archived in the same box. When a lot of pets come from one box it makes the pages really long! This event has so many pages bc the pets are released in smaller bundles :3c}
{edit;; yeah I went to look at that particular Advent and it's because of the deer xD there's like, 20 outcomes per box release, so the pages are SUPER long lmao}

Oh yeah you're right! I somehow never realized there was a certain way they decided how many pets were on each page haha. It's seven "groups" per page it looks like.

In that case, then yeah this event might go to five pages depending on how many more new litters we can adopt!

Ooh, today’s group of freebies + 2 trade-in groups + energized crystal trade-in + unarchived raptors (+ wolf dino group from yesterday) already makes for 6 groups on the 4th page!

I’m guessing we’ll do something to shut the portal but it will take several days to close properly, would be unfair to close off all those adopts early

I don’t think they’d close off adopts early even if we closed the portal early tbh. There could easily be another way back to the past through the waterfall that Hadil and Imbrie agree to take care of without letting the others know at the very end.

I have so many energized crystals that for some reason I simply can't believe that trade in will be the last that includes those. Anyone with me on that?

Honestly, I hope that’s the last energized crystal trade-in, both bc it’d really suck for people who haven’t been the luckiest with journal pages and bc I wanna hoard said crystals for decoration.

{I'm thinking it will be the only one as well, though I could be wrong and it'll be involved in closing the portal. However between the tasks to get it and the journal page having been a rare drop, I'm assuming it's like the lost teddy from last summer and only has one trade-in! Especially since the crystal also only trades for a pet of a single outcome.}

honestly, just see if you're able to put on a timer for every 20-30 minutes
or so and then just click through the different "adoptable pets" pages
for easy banners! the tokens rack up pretty quick
