We've given shells and seaweed to almost everyone.
The otters have an alibi.
Cuttler may have left the tentacle marks.
I think it definitely involves someone related to the pink pudding, therefore Shelly or Calamari.
I'm bad at this.
I lean towards Calamari because of the possible scapegoat technique with the otters. However, he may also have been angry at them or misjudged their characters. Also, he shows very little motive.
In Shelly's prosecution, she seems FAR too happy about the delay of the jamboree, stating that it will encourage people to buy more dresses. She has a buisness motive. Also, she asks for two peices of food, hence two meals.
Fire is orange, not red.
I've had the thought for a while that the cub's dad might be a villain. They're always talking about their mama, so that's obviously the dominant parent. They never regarded at the beginning to their father as someone the tourists would want to talk to, either. I figured there would be a reason. It is kind of far fetched, though, so don't mind me. :P
I've missed all the mod hints, save something about pink pudding, tenticals, and two meals. Could someone compile all of them, please?

I have a theory that it is Panopea.

Here is the thing. She is a squid right? So is Cuttler. There is in fact a motive for her actions if you dig a little deeper. She could be in love with him! Look at all her lovely hearts and beautiful jewelry. She obviously wants the attention. But seeing as no other squid is present, she is most likely trying to impress Cuttler!

BUT! He seems to be preoccupied with the event. So much in fact that she has probably grown sick of how much he cares for the event. He has yet to notice her! So what better way to get him to notice than to place herself at the center of the latest problem?

Note that the instruments were smashed and not stolen! Jealousy is one big motive here. And who could be more jealous than her?

I doubt its the dragon. He seems to not care.

I doubt its the race trac operator. She seems preoccupied with her business.

It doesn't seem to be the Sea Lion simply because he/she said they were bugging the guards yesterday (the time when it took place).

Cuttler doesn't seem to be the one only cause he could loose his job. And he seems to care about his job very much.

The cook? Too busy cooking for the event. While he could have done it, he doesn't seem like he has a need to other than a vacation. Smashing things could get him fired so that he could take that vacation.

Avian and Totoro. Doesn't seem likely at all. No motive that I can imagine. They always seem to look forward to fun adventures and not cause trouble. Though Totoro HAS done crimes before such as paint the site all gray. Maybe he hates music?

Thats all I got for now. Will keep investigating.
