Felt like the embodiment of the Pepe Silvia scene when I noticed Hadil mentioning prehistoric sharks that survived to today and my brain just went MEGALODON HINT MEGALODON HINT MEGALODON HINT. I wonder if a bunch of prehistoric sharks will show up in the Waterfall once the portal closes?

Speaking of the portal closing, it really seems like today might be the last day we *canonically* spend in the past, since Imbrie’s talking about how closing it will only take a little bit and the portal’s already showing signs of (closing? distortion?) in the art for the Outside area. Unless I’m just a dingus and didn’t realize that’s how the portal’s always looked.

I feel like it would be unfair to lock everyone out if the portal pets, giving that some people may miss those subtle cues. I really hope it doesn't close.

It would seem so, but it has been replaced with the prehistoric tool items instead.

Yeah, that’s what I’m assuming they’d do if the portal gets closed in the narrative before the event actually ends. They did say there would be a period after the event stops being active that we’ll still be able to trade in tokens during, after all.

If someone doesn't give me shark pets I will be thoroughly disappointed.

However I am very happy with the rest of this event. I think it's my favorite of all the summer events I've played here.

Side note: Has there ever been a CS event with a pet archive 5+ pages long? Because I think we might have our first once the growing adoptables are done and today’s outcomes (plus whatever arrives in the next few days) are added. O.O
