2021 Summer Event: Casual Chat

Any tips for those of us that have jobs and very little free time? Not trying to sound like I’m complaining, but I do have a few concerns for the older portion of CS ^^

I’m worried I won’t be able to collect enough tokens judging by how the past few token events went with how many are required.

I don’t have a lot of spare C$ to just buy tokens from people and nobody really buys art from me(not like I really have time for art these days), so I’m not sure how to get ahold of more when I need them.
I could trade pets, but there’s no clear token value and people demand way too much for event pets and tokens. I’m not comfortable giving up a rare for a small handful of tokens that may land me an uncommon pet if I’m lucky if that makes sense.

Any advice is appreciated

I say you could set a timer, so you could just check back here quickly every 20 minutes. That's what I do, since I'm not comftorable either giving up let's say an uncommon or rare and then getting a OMSC.

Yeah, spend all weekend token collecting and every last minute of your free time after work using a timer. It's entirely doable, I have a full-time job too and have no problem hitting the banner limit :)

I set a timer for every 20 minutes, to make sure I am collecting when I can. If this isn't realistic, I just start the clock for when I am done with my adulting for the day haha. Even collecting in the afternoons only, I was able to do it in the past.
However, sometimes, near the end of the event (when prices stabilize more), I will make trades for missed outcomes and for extra tokens. Usually that works! So you may not get things right the minute they come out, but its usually feasible to have them by the end of the event!

{I would just say collect as much as you can, and I definitely agree to set a timer! That's what I do xD Some people later in the event will do exact swaps, so you can trade tokens for a specific pet instead of trying your luck through the event page. And as the event winds down you'll probably have luck trading pets from earlier in the year for what you missed, without paying an arm and a leg if you find the right people!}
