I'm gonna go full detective mode;
The question: Who broke the instruments?

So far, we've only been allowed to interview Chef Calamari.
However, I don't think it could have been him? He's serving food at the Jamboree. He wouldn't want the Jamboree to be cancelled, because then, nobody would be able to try his food.

It could've been anyone;
- The Lion Cub, who honestly, I think is the most likely suspect. They're a little troublemaker, and they might want the Jamboree to be called off so that they (he?? she???) can get attention from their Mama.
- Panopea, although she seems v sweet tbh and she wouldn't really have a reason to break the instruments, since her game is gonna be available for people to play at Jamboree.
- Wade, the Fast Fins Racetrack Owner.. cat. Their information hasn't been updated since day one, but I can't tell if that's because nobody's chosen to update it, or if it's because they're hiding something.
- The Old Derg, perhaps because he wasn't invited? However, we learned from him yesterday that he's actually a very nice guy. I don't want to believe that he would've done something so cruel.
- The owner of Barnacle Boutique. Not sure what her motive would be.. but..
Although, she seems to be happy knowing that there'll be more time for outfit picking..
- Avian/Totoro?? Maybe they snuck in to explore, and ended up breaking something. I highly doubt it though.
- cUtTlEr??? A true detective never leaves out a suspect
Could be someone we haven't met yet.

I think it's the boutique doggo.
Weapons used were Seaweed & Shells... She specifically asks for Seaweed (ignore the odd rope piece) and Shells!!
Plus she has pink. (seems to be a clue according to people)

She doesn't seem too unhappy over this... and she doesn't seem to want to go there asking for us to bring her snacks. (Maybe scared she'll be recognized?)

The tentacle thing could be anyone!! Half the creatures here have tentacles. Maybe it could even be Cutters, where he accidentally mistook his print for a clue??

How dare someone suspect her! No. I say it was the secret evil all along: Squiddy... he is always there in the kelp forest, leading us to the ONE THING WE DONT WANT. Instead of giving the simple thing we need. While others, who don't need that thing, are getting doubles of it. It must be squiddy. He is evil.

still sticking to my theory that it's shelly - makes the most sense from raire's hints imo and since raire's hints perfectly line up with today's food items (she described them) i'm kind of sure it's not a troll
not sure what her motive would be, though? i mean mermaids are always associated with singing and whatnot but i mean
maybe she was looking for inspiration to make new dresses or something i don't know

i'm pretty sure the tentacle prints might have been just cuttler wandering around the stage or something after the instruments were destroyed
panopea is prolly really unlikely cause what would she want instruments for?? she can't exchange them for pearls or something because they were destroyed and nobody's gonna pay pearls for broken instruments
lion cub (she likes pretty things) and the dragon dude (lowkey salty he wasn't invited) can make for suspects too!! both have decent reasons to break the instruments but i'm sticking to shelly cos the hints were from a CS staff member so

also wade has literally no reason to be near the instruments at all?? wade's into racing and stuff so i don't think it was wade
ofc the fact that there were tentacle prints on the stage can kind of point to wade but i mean,,, still not very reasonable

It could be that Wade will lose business because of Panopea's little game, as she wants pearls as well. If Panopea takes all of the pearls...Fast Fin's Racetrack would lose customers... So, in order to get Panopea to leave... they had to destroy the instruments so the Jamboree would be cancelled, and she would have to leave.
