The other campers have begun to return to camp and everyone is talking excitedly about potential clues and hypotheses about what happened or what’s to come. You notice that Andrea is still not smiling, a real departure from what you have come to expect from her. You sit down on her bench by the fire and offer to toast a marshmallow for her. She declines, but when you turn away to get a marshmallow of your own you hear her whisper, “This isn’t like her. She wouldn’t leave.” You decide to stay sitting next to Andrea, just in case there’s something you can do to cheer her up.

If you want to investigate what you’ve seen, it’s time to return to camp and make a plan. Seraphine hasn’t returned to the tower, and you’re glad you’ll be able to confirm that for everyone else, even though it would have been much more simple if they had. As you head back and pass the Glampgrounds your flashlights catch on something shiny in the underbrush. When you investigate you see two high quality crystal rhinestones lying in the dirt.

this might not be relevant/might have been mentioned before, but in one of the chicken cabin's clues, mason mentions rubbish being left in the forest because the bear safe bins were 'too hard to use'. maybe some of this rubbish ended up in the lake? you can get sweet wrappers and plastic bottles from the fishing minigame, after all.

I did a google search to see. I found something talking about a white crow like cryptic called oopa oopa. So maybe that one? It said it's sometimes spotted in North America.

i also want to mention the items you can get from the firewatch tower. here's the flavour text from the page:

i'd assume the beads count as shiny objects. the part about the bird also could suggest crows.

Only things I can think of are the Pixiu, which is a creature from Chinese folklore. But that's more like a winged lion, not a crow- and the only correlation it has to shiny objects is it eats silver and gold... so I'm probably not on the right track there.

Another idea I had, is since it's been report that lots of creatures are coming in from the woods to the campgrounds, I wouldn't be suprised if magpies or Crows where dropping shiny objects!

Another ANOTHER Idea I had, was that it could be the work of carelessness, misplaced items, etc. Seeing as that's a running theme with the glampgrounds.

(Also unrelated side note, in mothman folklore its said he likes to steal dogs...? Not tryna scare anyone, but keep an eye on your fluffy freinds-)
