I don't care what I get, it's just exciting! I'll either get a pet I'm happy to have, or a rare+ pet to trade for something I want. All good outcomes.

I'm kind of dreading the 18th since I've always had bad luck on that day, ever since I started on CS more than 10 years ago. I hope I can finally break the spell... sigh.

I feel that, but hopefully it’s good this year. I usually take the time and at least swap mine out for the Christmas 08 rats cause I collect them in memory of my own rats. Never had any list pets from the boxes, but hopefully I’ll get something good this round.

Typically no, if you joined in december, you wont be able to adopt. This is to prevent cheaters. However the real cutoff isn't fully disclosed, we just know its close to december and usually you wont know until you go to adopt, and you can't. However there is always next year!!

last year i got the UR kirin and didnt realize that it was worth 2.5 n until i traded it away and eventually ended up with half its price in c$. this year im not really expecting to get a UR or anything again, but it was still really to have been a part of the community this time

Man am I excited. Even when I've been on hiatus for CS (which happens every so often) I've always come back for Dec 18th. In recent years I haven't had particularly good luck so I'm really hoping this year I get something funky!

This one is my absolute favorite pet I've gotten on the 18th. c': She was a huge dreamie for me ever since I joined and was the very first pet I pulled from the boxes in 2017. I also got the May Lioness one year, but I swapped that one (plus some extra pets) for the July Lioness. The only other good pet I've ever gotten was a Sorbet pup. It ended up being the pink one, and while I did love it, I ended up trading it for something else later on.
