I really love the macaws in general and I love the military macaw's final design, but these two seem a bit too samey-same when put together and I think they would've stood out individually better if one of them used the perching lineart (preferably the military one I suppose, since the scarlet macaw is already perched)

The colouring on the green-wing macaw also seems a bit harsh. I wish there was maybe a bit of shading between the different feather colours-- especially the green and red-- since both of those colours are very high in saturation and really punch the retinas (the blue's pretty high saturation also).
On the military macaw, the lighter green goes a lot better with the high saturation blue without necessarily needing anything to break it up-- and the military macaw has a nice gradient down the green also which looks very nice. I also love the colour in the military macaw's tail <3

It can, I can vouch for that, as I had to do it for the red feather Macaws. And now I have to do it for the golf game because I hit the limit on totems, tried it again, got an egg, and then it keeps showing the message for hitting the limit. xD Which goes to show that the totems and eggs were almost an exact 50/50 chance. Lol

Oddly enough, this happened right when I got enough to get my hoard to exactly 600! LOL

If you didn't trade for any macaws, then I wouldn't be surprised if the original invisible limit is 300 on both of those. That sounds like a nice, high round number

Nah, seems like the original invisible limit is 200 for the trade ins. I did trade for both tokens and Macaws. Still a nice round number though.

So uhh...I get this now when I try to trade in for red Macaw eggs:



I'm pretty sure I've hit the invisible limit they have to place on token trade-ins. It's not the first time this has happened. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is at least the third time this has happened to us, where we've traded for enough tokens and hoarded something to the point that we hit the invisible limit they placed on the trade-in. I remember it happened to us with the dinosaur plush sets back in the Slumber Party event and it also happened to us with the first time they had the bunny bird things during an Easter event. Hopefully this can either be raised before the token trade-in ends or I can find someone trustworthy enough to do it for me. ;-;

In case anyone is curious, I just counted our 1 pet for 1 item trades with B. Boutique NPC and we've done exactly 200. We've definitely hit the limit. ;-;

And here I am trying to bid fairly on macaws and get bombarded with most wanting VR, store pets, etc... which isn't fair to the bidder. XD Just a hoarders paradise. Lol

Thank you to the site owners, administrators, and staff for this event, i thought it was fantastic!

The duck race, mini-golf, and hilarious machine attack commentary were all delightful!
(the flash graphics of bobbing ducks in the pool was especially charming and spot-on)

when the jungle theme was announced, i was hoping we'd get crocodiles, big cats, elephants, and gorillas, and i was happy that we got them all in various forms. i have no idea how often new animal species line-arts are added to the kitty of pet possibilities, but it was a lot of fun observing everybody's excited reactions to the new macaw eggs. and of course, when one hears "rain forest," one immediately pictures colorful birds and we got loads of those as well.

this was my second event here (after the Easter event), and i must say, it surpassed my expectations.
