2018 Summer Event: Pet, Item, & Event Discussion

Can we get snake species ID’s please?
Boa Constrictor, Emerald tree boa, African Bush Viper, red sided garter and the last 2? Particularly confused about the yellow one with green/black stripes.

I really wish there were more realistic pets and items. I think the jungle deer like the bongo would’ve been better on the deer lineart? The only background animals we got that were realistic were the birds of paradise. The plushies are cute but why is everything so cuddly looking it doesn’t feel jungle-y. Some realistic snake, insect, spider items would’ve been nice instead of multiple sets of golf gear. As well as more greenery, vines, leaves, dead wood idk. 3 different species based on macaws confused me.

I just wanted to say thank you to the entire CS staff team for putting together this wonderful summer event with all their hard work and talents!

Didn't realise the snakes were based on anything, I figured they were way too crazily coloured to be real c':
BUT OH MY GOSH I HAVE FOUND MY FAVOURITE SNAKE
Red sided Garter is just GORGEOUS ;O; <3 How is it even real????


I really wish there had been more realistic items, I love my dress ups, tho the items we've got have really delivered aaahhhh I love them so much <3 some rotting mossy wood and such would've been great tho
Also river dolphins aaaaaaa ;n;
And jaguars are in my top five fav animals, really wanted to see one </3
Also spiders so far no tarantulas and seems like no more pets are coming D:
Also fernnns aahhhhh would've been amazing to see a bunch of different species of plants in general really but ferns scream jungle to me!

But I love everything we have got so I'm really happy with this event! ^.^
What really made the event for me was the token swaps gosh was it needed ;u;

Also can I just say that the new bird lineart NEEDS to be around for more than just this event because golly gosh can we please get more birbs??!?!!? <3<3

"Today is the last day of new trade-ins but you can still find tokens today and for an additional three days after that! Some of the resort staff and jungle dwellers also have some more free gifts for you, so make sure to visit them daily!"

I just wanted to point out what I made bold from the news post today. It's definitely possible that we might get some more free pets and items from the remaining days, just no more token trade-ins. We won't know until the very end. ;P

My fave items would probably be the assortment of foliage we got and the plushies, particularly this one:

Is anyone else disappointed the 'snake' adopts aren't even snakes, and are barely edited? Snakes don't have fur, tails or legs...

Can anyone help me ID the macaws (if they're based off of real species)? I've found the blue-and-yellow and the scarlet listed on this thread but nothing of the green one!
