Still loved the whole case. It was fun!

So here are my notes I took while reading through Cutter's. Feel free to look over them, and use them as you like
I am stuck: I suspect Chef Calamari, Mr. Herringbone, and Finnegan. And the royal family, though I think the princess would have to work in collaboration with someone if she were to steal something (she's too clumsy and all over the place). Plus, why would she care?

Anyway, here they are:

CHEIF SUSPECTS:

- CHEF CALAMARI
- Lies about actions last night! Confirmed by Avian (not prime suspect) and CS tourists
- Has key!
- Is usually first to arrive. Confirmed by Panopea (not prime suspect)
- Is in collaberation with:
- Wade? Claims to be watching Panopea's pearl game...
- Leaves courtyard at 12:45 pm... did he lock the gate?
- Opens courtyard at 5:45... after the King and Queen claim to have heard noises.
- First claims he went to bed, but is proven wrong by a picture. 3:02 am
- Then claims his jellyfish got out, with took about a half hour, but then went back to bed.
- How would he know if his jellyfish got out if he was sleeping?

- FINNEGAN
- Has Key!
- Sought stolen items
- Is very confusing, could get past others easily...
- What's with the seaweed? Could he have accidentally put seaweed on the new statue Herringbone mentioned?
- That would certainly explain why the creature in the picture looked weird.

- HERRINGBONE
- Makes a joke out of the whole thing (not serious). Afraid of getting caught?
- Sought stolen items
- Seems paranoid
- Throws blame on Cutler, who has been cleared
- CS tourists claim to have heard Herringbone complain about lack of invite to Jamboree. Motive?
- Finnegan claims to have sent Herringbone an invite weeks ago, also claiming that H never responds.
- Herringbone lying to get tourist sympathy, or is Finn lying?
- Claims not to have heard any noises during the night
- Mentions new statue. Is the statue the "strange shadowy figure" lurking behind the tourists? 1:15 am

- SHELLY
- Lied about being in bed out of embarrasment, CLEARED.
- Lost key. Could someone else have found it?

- PRINCESS/ ROYAL FAMILY
- Princess is too "out of it" to be "out of it". Might be some sort of genius...
- CS tourists accuse the royal family - they have key to courtyard. Motive not yet uncovered
- King and Queen report being awoken by a loud noise from the direction of the courtyard around 3-4 am.
- King and Queen claim to have remained in bed all night... did they?

Nice work everyone! I really enjoyed this, although I was kind of at a loss at the end and was not really posting, I've been following the discussion. It was fun to see all the different theories. I kind of suspected an accident, since no one seemed to have a strong motive. ^^

Guys I think you're going way too far with the whole Princess thing! First of all, she'd have to work with someone, and that someone would definitely not be Herringbone! We all know he hasn't got the patience for that! He practically shoved the pets at us!

Ikr? I made notes on my own theory (posted on previous page) and honestly once you develop your own theory and someone else has another one you're basically like "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I'm correct!" and thus, this thread is bombed with arguments and theories and whatnot :3
