I had to bid 55c$ in an auction to win it. That was 5c$ over the 50 c$ bid that outbid my initial 20c$.

Overpay? Yes, but at least that is one less thing to have to focus on.

I get excited to see a trade and it's like. Some extremely common pet for an event one and I just go (':

I'm mostly behind on token pets because I don't have as much time to look for tokens right now.

Most of the time event pets bought as token trades will be rare. Summer event was interesting that the trade ins were in the uncommon group, but typically if I am to even consider a wishlist non event pet it has to be rare and something I really desire.

I tend to shun free event pets or common/uncommon wishlists for event pets bought with tokens until after the event and I see the value.

As far as sending trades, I've done it a few times, either by mistake or they were wishlist locked and the event pet i had to offer is no longer on their wishlist. The trade forums move so fast and I'm too slow to keep up. By the time the page opens and I see the last page of the trade thread and I read the post, they already got what they needed.

I guess the non event pets sent my way are likely a desperate attempt to complete a collection. If I can I try to cancel just saying I am looking for event pets until the event is over. On other occasions I hold the trade hoping to see the rarities.
