I was under the impression that red-green colorblind meant the colors red and green were unable to be interpreted by the individual - ie they show up grey.

The green monster might actually be red, if the princess was red-green colorblind.

That feels like a stretch to me, I feel like if she were color blind, I think someone would have mentioned it.

I'd also like to argue (against my OWN original comment haha) that red-green colorblindness is much rarer in females. XD
I like to just put out random suggestions and ideas on this thread.

It also might be red, it was at night and underwater, so it's perfectly probable that figure was actually red.

AND!! Depending on how close/far away the figure is, it'll appear smaller or larger as a shadow this could totally be true. I've totally suspected squiddy since the thing first happened.
