I'm loving the pets and theme so far<33 Western isnt usually my thing but the rat lineart is such a strong start I cannot *not* like this event already lol The rat outcomes remind me sm of my past mice that I loved dearly so that's also a great coincidence!<3

Honestly I didn’t think this theme was really asked for much and personally 😒🤷🏻‍♀️ But we already got some scenery items which is great and I reckon we may get some cool snakes so that will be nice.
Oh and the horse does have really soulful eyes which is nice.

I thought this was one of the most asked-for events, last time I looked at the thread. I saw so many people asking for it that I completely expected it to be chosen!

Everyone here has such good ideas for pets! Armadillos, pronghorns, prairie dogs, SQUEEE!!!!
I’m so happy with this event. I’m obsessed with western/southwestern USA and I’ve always loved Wild West/cowboy stuff!!! Such an interesting piece of history. Obviously CS won’t get into the nitty gritty of it but even just the aesthetics and vague themes of it are so cool and fun for an event! Thank you CS staff!!! I’m so glad we can have this event even though the actual era wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows lol. I love the southwest/west, deserts, mountains, ranching, etc.

Not a fan of this event at all. As someone who hates natural colors on pets, this event seems like it's going to be full of natural pets and species and nothing fun. I was really hoping for something other than this. I think Western is my least favorite thing personally.

unfortunately agree :( i'm really hoping for some colorful pets here and there, but considering the theme, it's not looking too promising
still hoping for some good dress up items tho.... i'd love some adorable cowboy hats hehe

I'm personally a bit disappointed at how USA-centric the theme is compared to something more universal like last year's internet event...I loved camping as a kid but the sort of camping I did was very different to the whole American summer camp thing, which the event seems to be exclusively based on at this point. It's not really a big deal as a one-off but I just hope this isn't going to set a precedent for tailoring the events towards more specifically North American themes. I do like the NPCs and pets though and I'm interested to see where the story goes.

Well my comment from last year didnt age well lol. The camping event did end up having some more fantasy-based pets that i really liked though so I'm sure there will be plenty of variety this time as well.
