Because a lot of people want the plushies, macaw eggs, clothes, and flora cats that can only be collected with tokens.

I'm just really hoping the limit won't get raised again. Or pull that fast one where they raise it like 25 more the day before the event ends. I really dislike thinking I don't have to hunt and can relax the last day only to find I didn't achieve the final limit.
