YOOO WHAT Literally yesterday I was saying how I thought there was an unlikely chance that there would be a pine marten pet but I was hoping, because I've been trying to get the brown ferret store pet to represent one, since that is my boyfriends fursona species!! but I have had no luck, and now it doesn't matter, cause PINE MARTENS!! They are sooo cute!!!

For some reason it at first made me think of the R.O.U.S. (Rodents of unusual size) from "The Princess Bride" lol.
Please do NOT send trades for my event tokens. I rarely trade tokens before I get all of the event items/pets that I want. When my tokens are for trade, I will put that in my trade posts on the trade threads. Thank you.

Today, I learned of the existence of martens. And I. Am. In. Love.
They are sooooo cute! I especially like the darker one. Honestly one of my favorite things about Chicken Smoothie (and animal-based games in general) is learning about animals Iβve never heard of before and being introduced to a new cutie-pie <3

the lighter one could be a Japanese sable (Martes zibellina brachyura) but Iβm not seeing Japanese marten (Martes melampus). they tend to be oranger, with darker face markings (not always, moreso in the summer theyβll have a black face and darker feet), shorter ears, and a white tipped tail. Japanese sables can have the lighter coloration of this pet, BUT this coloration also exists in American martens (Martes americana) along with the even paler βcanaryβ coloration they sometimes have.

I just have to say that this event's pets are amazing!
And the theme also [I've always wanted to go on a camp like this but it's not common in my country and not on this scale as you see here!]
I'm just so happy to be able to participate in this year's event! I'm glad I came back from my hiatus again c:
I've missed so many events and nice pets but I'm so happy to be here for this one!
Today's possum and martens are unbelievable! And I also love the squirrels and the woodchuck!
Looking forward for more awesome pets and activities : D!
I'm on Chickensmoothie since 2008
