2021 Summer Event: Casual Chat

I've been working full time during this event so I haven't been able to get on and collect tokens and such as much as I would have liked, but I'm still like 2/3s of the way through the collection with some doubles to swap. I think it's balanced really well personally and I honestly don't think there's a need to stress out about it. I know during halloween when I wasn't working I was more stressed than I am now, because I felt like I had to be searching every 20 minutes for a banner, but chilling out and collecting stuff when I can has made me a lot more appreciative of the event. So thank you to the admins for being considerate of peoples situations and still making the event super manageable, it's been really fun ^^

From what I've gathered, the trade thread with the journal page is a new thing, and I'm not the only one worried about it. I like the concept, and I hope to get a page or two before the end of the event!
I think I'll start trading in for pets I really want and go from there. The crystal dig pets I feel will be the most difficult since they're RNG based.
It's not that I'm stressed about having a complete collection, I should have specified that I'm worried I won't get the the outcomes I prefer. I think avoiding the swap thread for a bit will help me not worry so much about outcomes I'm less interested in.
I'm really liking the event, and I think I'm just temporarily stunned since it seems way more involved as I'm used to the Halloween and Christmas Events.

Hopefully I'll be able to collect enough journal pages to get a full item collection. By my math, you would need 4 journal pages in order to get all the items in the trade line and still have an extra of the energized crystal to trade in later.

the journal page comes from the banner. you get the sorry note by trading in the journal page. you get the energized crystal by trading in the sorry note.

Is there a difference in appearence to in the crystal digging game to getting a crystal token or one of the pets? After 2 days and 13 tries I've only gotten crystals.

It seems to be at least a 10-15:1 crystals:pets ratio for most.

iv been busy with a new puppy so i dont have alot of time to get banners ect but im not doing to bad
i have everything apart from the dig pets and the new token (and its trade in)

im going to try to do more banner hunting today ,set a timer or somthing
