its time zones! in gmt, its already dec 19th

why are some of the topics locked?

the regular advent topics were locked yesterday so people would post in the Dec 18th topics (as it was Dec 18th) I'm sure mods will unlock them soon!

Hi! So it’s Dec 18th here and I can’t adopt the pets, am I doing something wrong?

December 18th is now over sadly, it's now December 19th on CS

i worked late last night and didnt get off work today till 6pm CDT (which is rollover for CS bc of daylight savings) and i didnt get the chance to get my 18th pets... i wish you guys made the dec 18th pets available for the rest of the event... this is the first time ive ever missed the 18th and im super sad about it.

Question! so if you don't long on everyday you can't get the gift on today? like the rare pets because i have been extremely busy and i made sure i should log on today to get them at least because i recently moved. Because it wasn't like that before?
Nevermind i saw everything, that it's the "19th" on cs which is kind of confusing since it should just be 18th the whole day on 18th i missed out last year and was excited for this day to come what a bummer :I. I waited a whole year. wow.

no, it’s always been like that. cs changes the gift everyday at the cs time zone.

it must just be your time zone. for me, i can adopt 18th pets starting on the 17th at 7:00pm, but i can’t adopt them anytime after the 18th at 7:00pm. it depends on where you’re from. if you look at the date on any re-release pet, it’ll always say december 18, same with any other advent pet (it’ll have the date of the day it released.)

Unfortunately the turnover messes some people up - you need to make sure what your midnight is compared to CS's, since it's technically the 19th for them now, but not yourself. You are correct, you don't need to collect the other days to get this one, but the turnover seems to have gotten the better of you X(
