Seconded - plus it may be overthinking it, but I think bananas are technically berries taxonomically? And Berry cabin is searching at the lake π€

"The counselors have assigned you a mission, and youβre committed to doing the best you can. After discussing with your Chicken Cabin friends it seems obvious that you need to speak to the most knowledgeable person in the forest, and that would be Ranger Mason, of course. Thanks to your volunteerism helping Moose, he allows you to pack a full lunch in the Mess Hall and take it out into the forest with you, though he reminds you not to leave any trash or food scrapsβeven banana peelsβbehind. You get a bit of a later start than the other campers, but you feel more prepared as you hike out to the Ranger Station."

I'm thinking forest because banana peels were especially not meant to be left behind. I did however, go straight to the lake anyway and fished to see if anything changed. Nothing new.

If youβre going to find some clues, you need to think outside of the box. You see other campers going off into the hiking trails, down to the ranger station, or even staying in camp. Thatβs not good enough! You gather a small group of Green Smoothie cabinmates for a brainstorming session. Eventually, someone says, βWhatβs the highest place we can reasonably get to see everything?β And the answer is obvious: Youβre going to climb the firewatch tower.

the red glowing eyes in the top right corner of the view from the watchtower... something's out there
I think it could be mothman possibly. Mothman is known to be an omen of something bad about to happen (it's been said he's been seen before the collapse of the silver Bridge amongst other tragedies) and I remember the eyes being visible yesterday too

I was thinking the same, but because the missing camper is the one with lots of lights in their area, I'm guessing the watchtower would also have a light on at night?

it should be noted that the red eyes shadow figure has always been present on that background since when it was released! although I suppose it could've potentially be purposefully left like that (with the placement of the tree item leaving said eyes unhidden) but interesting nonetheless!

Seeing as Apple's going to the hiking trails, I feel obligated to mention the spooky ghost in the background that I've seen mentioned earlier. I can't post the picture because I'm on mobile, but there's something there! Plus the "new friends" either being a weird sea creature or not at all living in the woods. Something's up with those guys

I'm curious how Andrea factors into all of this, too. She seems by far the most upset, and Vanilla's clue even specifically brings up how distressed she is.

maybe the new watchtower token blurb has some relevance?
As you explore the area around the Firewatch Tower you notice some discarded items that you find beautiful. As you bend down to pick them up a bird swoops in and snatches some of your beads. It seems like the forest has taken payment for your new decorations
evil bird? cryptid bird? mothman but we mistake it for a bird? the possibilities are endlessβ¦ also interesting how theres a note about the forest βtaking paymentββ¦ maybe some sort of nature uprising?

βItβs obvious to you and your friends in the Creamsicle Cabin that the best thing to do is go to the scene of the crime, so to speak, and talk to new people and make new friends! You grab some snacks and head over to the Glampgrounds, where you find that some of the glampers are packing up their campsites. Itβs sad to see the cool string lights coming down and the turbo mister fans being put away. When you ask them whatβs up, they say that theyβre not going to risk getting caught up in anything, and itβs better to head out. You head all the way down to Cirrusβ campsite at the end of the Glampgrounds to start your investigation, but you donβt see anything too worrisome at her site, and youβre more interested in talking to people, anyway.β
Creamsicle cabin really lacking on actual investigation here - however, I wonder if anyone leaving the glampgrounds knows what happened? Lights coming down makes me curious - a very specific mention, alongside the fans. Nothing worrisome at her site... maybe drawn away from it by something? I haven't seen anything odd at the Glampgrounds from the start. Unfortunate that nobody's in the watchtower - they could've seen something.
