Color Choices

This can apply to both posting on CS and when typing out posts or ooc in roleplays.
Here are examples of what to do and what NOT to do.
✗
The pale-coated canine padded towards another wolf. "Hello", he barked.
Why?
The text is too bright, and can be hard to read to other users.

Though the colors are similar shades, the color chosen for speech is much more easy to read, and more calm to the eye.
Color choices when roleplaying matters a great deal, as the color you pick for your text, if any, can make or break a post. If it's too light, it can be hard to read- and if it's too bright, it can also be hard for the opposing user to read, and can ruin the look of a nicely laid out post.

Size Choices- - -
There is a many variety of text sizes in CS, ranging from size 1 to a whopping size 200. The basic
code for text size is [ size=??? ]text[ /size ] Similar to colors, the choices in your size text can
make or break a post.
For example; sizes on the larger spectrum of text sizes, ranging from about size 110 to 200.
These sizes can make for a great header to your roleplay post, whether it be stating the title
of your roleplay, or the name of your character. In other scenarios, however? It's best not to use these.
When regularly typing, it's best to use the normal size font or a smaller size, though not too small.
Sizes such as size 75-80 below can be hard to read to some users, while just fine to others.
For me, I like to stick with size 85 since it's not very small, depending on the user.
Similar to the last post, here are some scenarios for text size.✗user a wrote:Elizabeth // 18 Years Old // Female // Tags;; Alex
Elizabeth walked around, soon greeting her friend, Alex, with a cheery, "Hello!"
Why?
The text size for the information on the character is too small, and can possibly be hard to read. The text for the roleplaying portion of the post is much bigger than needed, and can be disrupting against other posts.✓user b wrote:Alex // 17 Years Old // Male // Tags;; Elizabeth
Alex glanced over at Elizabeth, exclaiming, "Hey Elizabeth! What are you doing?"
Why?
The text for the header is slightly bigger than the base post, though not an incredibly large or small size. The size for the roleplay post itself is small yet not very hard to read, and doesn't ruin the over-all look of the post.
That wraps it up for this post on size choices- make sure to follow these guidelines while roleplaying and while making regular posts. Remember, nothing too big, and nothing too small.

Styles in text can be things such as bold, italics, underline, and plenty more.
There's also sites such as Webestools and Fsymbols, where you can generate decorative text.
Typically, the text in these site scan make for great titles or headers in beginning posts.
Similar to large text fonts, using these in other cases doesn't really work out in an rp post.
Here are some examples:✗a wrote:Andromeda // 4 years old // Female // Australian Shepherd // Open
Ʈɦƹ Łǿɲǥ-ƒµřřƹȡ ȼąɲɨɲƹ ρąȡȡƹȡ ąŁǿɲǥ Ʈɦƹ ȿƮřƹƹƮ, ɨɲ ȿƹąřȼɦ ǿƒ ƒǿǿȡ. ȿɦƹ ȿɲɨƒƒƹȡ ƹ˅ƹř¥ώɦƹřƹ ȿɦƹ ώƹɲƮ- ɦǿώƹ˅ƹř, ɨɲ Ʈɦƹ ƹɲȡ, ȿɦƹ ώąȿ ŁƹƒƮ ώɨƮɦ ɲǿƮɦɨɲǥ.
Why?
The text can be hard to read to some, and is over-all unneeded and hurts the post rather than benefiting it.✓b wrote:ANDROMEDA // 4 YEARS OLD // FEMALE // AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD // OPEN
The long-furred canine padded along the street, in search of food. She sniffed everywhere she went- however, in the end, she was left with nothing.
Why?
The stylish text for the header isn't hard to read, and is purely used for the head and nothing else.
The text of the post is a normal font, and easy to read.

Stylish text has many good uses, whether it be in role-plays or in typical posting. Whether a user
uses it in a beneficial way, however, is up to them.
