⇾ appreciates control, though he does not avidly seek it. he watches situations play out, to his own amusement until it's time for him to step in. he also makes everyone well aware that he's in power, bending those to his will with mere words meant to kill.
⇾ ambiverted. he's extroverted when he needs to, becoming often argumentative and speaking his mind when he sees fit, but he does enjoy his peace and quiet at times. he finds it hard to be at peace with himself when he's alone, which leads to the lack of practice in enjoying his own company.
⇾ anger-issue central. he's impatient, to say the least. and he always needs to have the last word. he doesn't take kindly to the silent treatment or lack of an answer. he will get the damn answer from you, no matter how he must pry for it. it's his way, or the high way, and he makes it very clear that the latter is not the road you wish to choose. goes into the extremes in minutes, if you've really touched a nerve. a scary guy when he's angry, lemme just say.
⇾ awfully secretive about his affairs. he's always hiding around a corner listening in for information he might find useful. he prefers to keep his affairs private, for the sake of his own sanity. he's not the greatest at explaining why there are shattered china plates in the kitchen or where he got that black eye from. he also claims that his affairs are no one's business but his own and the other party, probably to hide the fact that he's scared of someone trying to take something that he cares for or for someone to misstep in his place.
⇾ somehow very lucky. he claims that it's all due to careful calculation, but it's rather lady luck is on his side. personal gains are the field they happen most frequently in, and less in the relationship department. but that's not anything luck can help him with. also denies rumors of recklessness this way, all letting it fall to the mysterious mask he wishes to keep up.
⇾ practically a ghost the way he disappears and reappears. it's a bad habit of his, ghosting when he doesn't feel up to conversation or entertainment, but at least you'll know when the guy wants to see you... right?
⇾ trying to get over his selfishness, and is actually making progress to it! i wouldn't say he's spared anyone, per-se, but he's been getting better at making decisions with other people in mind.
⇾ chooses his words carefully, but this doesn't necessarily mean that he's good with them. he's awful at expressing, or even identifying, emotions, but when he does, he gets in his head and stutters a bit. it's endearing, watching someone care for meaningful words but also who spews a bunch of meaningless trash all day. but this tendency of his, recently picked up, does cause him to catch his tongue before he says something stupid or too cruel. he has a heart and a consciousness in there behind those walls he's built up.
⇾ fears being alone the most, yet it's something he's so familiar with. he spent most of his formative years alone, being bullied for things he could never change about himself. no matter how badly he wished for his sister, she would never come. tristan tried to push down all the emotion indefinitely, which is responsible for his self-isolation and emotional constipation.
⇾ he skateboards and rollerblades. it helps him wrangle his head back where it's supposed to be in order to execute the tricks he knows. he takes it seriously, and has it as more of a party trick. he copes by putting headphones on and drowning out everything except him and the board. he's pretty damn good at it, too. could definitely surf, if he were to ever take a chance out in the ocean, but the probability is slim to none.

⤀ naturally a charmer. for a man of such little words, he's somehow got that vibe that most p
eople tend to gravitate towards. since he doesn't spend too much time talking, what he has to
say is important to him, and should be taken as though it is important: every compliment is ge
nuine and every effort valiant.
⤀ emotionally intelligent from a harsh home life, where he was ridiculed for talking too much
or doing anything but studying for school or playing piano. this is causation for his tende
