PEARCROWN

They have an equal mix of gray and white, which is splashed across their body haphazardly. Their thick fur sticks up at a million angles and is constantly ruffled with an "I just woke up" look to it. It used to irritate Pearcrown, but they've taken on a nonchalant air about it now. They're a small cat, which comes in handy when fighting.

No one expects Pearcrown to be so determined and fierce. Even they don't. Sparring is their favourite pass-time for this reason. Pearcrown is a calm, cool, and collected cat. Or so they try to be. They don't always succeed. However, they are carefully considerate and always willing to lend a paw, no matter the circumstances. They are somewhat reserved, but that doesn't mean they're quiet, just that they make sure to choose their words carefully. Pearcrown loves their siblings and couldn't imagine a day without them. They also really enjoy the gentle company of nature and will slip away on solo walks despite knowing it's dangerous to go out alone. They can take care of themselves! Pearcrown has a temper, but it comes out in huffs of indignation and some serious eye-rolling. They like to tease their friends and though they strive to be the best cat they can be, they know that being a tease isn't particularly civil. Pearcrown is completely unapologetic about this.

Pearcrown and their siblings' parents were mysteriously killed, and, fearing their own safety, they all decided to join HearthClan for protection. Pearcrown didn't think they would love Clan life as much as they do, and they are determined to stay, despite feeling uncomfortable with the overall tension. They're wary about trusting any cats and fearful of going out at night, due to their parents' death.

HONEYGLAZE

Honeyglaze is orange, but leaning more on the side of tan than fire. His tabby markings are pale and definitely not the first thing noticed. He has a small, skinny frame, though his tail is a plume of fluff. He can run quickly, probably from all the practice he's had! He uses this skill to hunt in meadows and valleys, though he also likes mountain terrain just fine. He's not the best at battle moves, but that's due to a lack of effort; he prefers to be the brains behind the strategy rather than in the thick of it.

Honeyglaze likes to think he is a good warrior, which steadies him. He has a light, youthful air about him, as he hasn't seen much tragedy in his life, and still likes to enjoy breaking the rules and overall doing what he wants. He's very gentle with everyone he interacts with, and although his name was originally meant to describe his looks, it also describes his personality. Honeyglaze makes decisions quickly and without hesitation. He's a thinker, but not one who gets bogged down in the moment. He thinks on his feet. He's the type to hover and fret, which can be irritating at the best of times. He takes everything way too seriously, but as he would say, "if I don't, who will?" He's always rushing about trying to get something done, as he's the type to take on too much and forget he's promised someone something.

His father was never around much and Honeyglaze isn't sure he would recognize him if he saw him. His mother, however, was a huge part of his life, and he was distraught when she died of sickness. He still gets squeamish around sick cats due to it. This is why he frets so much - he cares, deeply so, and therefore fears the cats he cares about will be hurt.

THORNSTEP

Thornstep is as sharp as her name implies, both in personality and physicality. Her claws and eyes are sharp, but her words can be equally as barbed; she doesn't accept nonsense from anyone, and can be decidedly harsh and/or unforgiving.

When she makes friends and they decide to stick around despite her fierce way of showing affection, with no signs of weakness or heartfelt declarations, those friends are for life. She's ride or die for those she cares about, and is overwhelmingly protective when needed. She radiates older sister energy, and despite being an older sibling, she will treat any cat that way, no matter their age. Thornstep knows she could manage just fine on her own, and only sticks around in a group setting because she's grudgingly fond of a lot of the members, and it's not as if she can just leave them to fend for themselves.

Her littermate was always more of a wanderer than her, and he left when they were apprentices, so she's not all torn up about some loss, though she certainly speaks about him like she thinks he was foolish to leave. Her parents died a while ago, and she barely bats an eye at the mention; they were never particularly close, it seems.

FLEETSTRIKE

In essence, Fleetstrike is an early summer night sky. Her coat, the cloying darkness. Her eyes, the glowing harvest moon. She is sleek and silent and deadly. A small cat with all the force of nature behind her.

Fleetstrike is deadly serious at the best of times. She doesn't do "humour." Regardless, she enjoys the company of cats who have a lighter outlook on life, and she knows how to laugh. She's got that gently mysterious vibe to her, but it's not something she's actively trying to do. It's mostly her appearance. It's easy to miss a black cat in the cloak of night. She's picky about details, and kind of a stickler, but only because it helped her learn in the past. She'd be a good deputy, but she doesn't feel like she deserves that kind of position and doesn't want it anyway. She's often times flippant about things even if they're actually meaningful to her, and she guards her feelings closely. She isn't easy to become friends with because she offers little to no emotional vulnerability, but she is fiercely loyal to those she does respect or care for. She could take or leave Clan life, and doesn't really conform to a lot of the standards, including belief in StarClan. It just seems ridiculous to her. She only believes in things she's seen, and she's awfully transparent in that sense. She speaks in a crisper version of the HearthClan accent as she's from the north.

She was one of two daughters of loners; her sister was named Jumpflight. Their father, the one to leave them in Clan life, left early into their apprenticeships. Fleetstrike deeply resents him for it, despite him having "reasons." This contributes to her lack of trust in anyone. For a long time, she leaned on her sister for that support, but when Jumpflight died, she was left with no crutch and in a world where she felt very small and very alone.

DELANEY SHIVERS

Delaney has an excess of energy as well as insomnia, so he rarely sleeps. He keeps getting himself into tricky situations and coming out of it a little worse for wear. One of these days he's going to seriously hurt himself, but he has no self-preservation instinct. He always manages to just barely get out of dangerous situations, so he has a lot of scars, most notably missing a piece of his ear, and sometimes walks with a slight limp despite his age.

Delaney is arrogant, thinks he's indestructible, and a troublemaker. He breaks the rules for the thrill of it. He's a flirt but mostly just because he thinks it's fun. At most, it's a passing interest or general appreciation of aesthetic, but he plays it up as if he is madly in love with everyone he meets, because you only live once, right? Might as well make it a fun one. He's super inquisitive, and that's going to get him in trouble someday. Getting out of the trouble he lands himself in is also one of his best skills, though. He's good at sucking up, not just flirting, and when he makes a promise or commitment, he always sticks to it. He's kind of stuck up and doesn't like being called immoral just because he has erratic tendencies.

Delaney has always rushed into things head-first, even before he was a werewolf. Sometimes he likes to joke that it's a surprise he wasn't turned into one sooner; he's twenty-four, and only been one for four years. Which also means he's been avoiding his brother for four years. Not entirely, but...enough to keep him safe. Despite all appearances of detachment from any sort of deeper emotional bond, Delaney loves Sky, and he wishes he could share his life with him more, but he knows he's in a dangerous situation, and he loves it, but he wouldn't wish that on anyone else who didn't choose that life too. A dangerous adventure is one thing, but when his entire existence is dangerous? He'd rather not get his brother involved, who is the kind of person who was always too sweet for their own good. Delaney actually started his chaotic lifestyle when he broke Sky's fall from a drop that would have killed him, and the rush he got from that, despite the broken bones, was enough to send him spiraling into extreme sports and outdoor adventures, and...magic and wolves, which was unexpected, but he's rolling with it. He's the resident tech expert, which was why he was able to travel so easily with a remote job, though it does pain him that the town seems to be stuck in like, the 80s.
