Obi-Wan Kenobi
Nickname(s): Obi, Ben, Kenobi, The Negotiator
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Species: Human
Appearance:
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a tall, strong-willed man with short, sandy brown hair and a beard. His striking blue eyes often convey calmness and depth of thought. He maintains a composed and serene expression, reflecting his wisdom and discipline. As a Jedi Knight, he wears the traditional brown and beige robes of the Order, with a distinguished and regal air to his presence. Though he's often seen as an expert warrior, there’s an undeniable grace to his movements—especially when wielding his lightsaber. Obi-Wan carries himself with dignity, making him easily recognizable as a Jedi Master.
Powers:
Obi-Wan is a skilled Jedi Master, particularly adept in the Light Side of the Force, focusing on defense, strategy, and wisdom. His Force abilities include:
Telekinesis: Obi-Wan can manipulate objects with his mind, though he favors subtlety and control over brute force.
Force Jump/Dash: Like most Jedi, Obi-Wan is capable of using the Force to augment his physical abilities in battle, leaping to great heights or dashing swiftly to evade or close in on enemies.
Empathy: Obi-Wan’s strong connection to the Force allows him to sense the emotions of others, particularly in tense situations.
Force Visions: He occasionally experiences Force visions that help him foresee important events or foresee potential dangers.
Mind Control: Obi-Wan possesses subtle mind control abilities, though he uses them sparingly and only in situations where it is necessary for peace and diplomacy.
In addition to his Force powers, Obi-Wan is renowned for his lightsaber mastery. He is a master of the Soresu form, known for its emphasis on defense and counter-attacks. His calm demeanor in battle makes him a strategic and calculated fighter.
Personality:
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a deeply disciplined Jedi, committed to the Jedi Code, but with a complexity that gives him a unique personality. He is known for his dry sense of humor and sarcasm, often using wit as a tool to defuse tension or lighten the mood. His rebellious nature in his younger years has evolved into a more measured and responsible demeanor. Obi-Wan is the embodiment of calmness and wisdom—patient, peaceful, and selfless. He is steadfast in his loyalty and his moral compass, always striving to do what is right. He’s also modest and honorable, rarely seeking recognition for his deeds.
While Obi-Wan is almost always level-headed and cautious, his interactions with Anakin Skywalker, his former Padawan, show a different side of him. Anakin's reckless and impulsive nature often causes Obi-Wan to become flustered and on edge, and it’s clear that their complicated bond sometimes causes Obi-Wan to struggle with his patience. Despite this, Obi-Wan always believes in Anakin’s potential, even when others doubt him. However, Obi-Wan's heart is heavy with the knowledge of the eventual downfall of his beloved Padawan.
Over time, Obi-Wan has grown into a deeply caring, responsible, and self-disciplined figure, but he still retains some of the cynicism of his younger years. As a Jedi Master, he often sees himself as a mentor first and foremost, imparting wisdom to his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, as he once did for Anakin.
History:
Obi-Wan Kenobi was born on the planet Stewjon in 57 BBY. He was discovered to be Force-sensitive at a young age and brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where he was trained under the Jedi Code. His early training was difficult, and Obi-Wan often struggled to fit in, but his determination and dedication to the Force propelled him forward.
At the age of 25, Obi-Wan was assigned as the Padawan of Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master known for his unorthodox methods and wisdom. Their bond was strong, and together, they faced countless challenges, including their involvement in the Invasion of Naboo, where Obi-Wan defeated the Sith Lord Darth Maul, avenging his Master’s death. Following Qui-Gon’s death, Obi-Wan took on the responsibility of training Anakin Skywalker, who was believed to be the Chosen One destined to destroy the Sith.
Obi-Wan's years with Anakin were marked by a deep bond of friendship, though Anakin’s emotional nature and recklessness often caused friction between them. Despite their differences, Obi-Wan cared for Anakin deeply, seeing him as a brother. But the tensions between them and Anakin’s eventual fall to the Dark Side broke Obi-Wan’s heart. Obi-Wan's role in the rise of the Empire is pivotal, as he witnesses the fall of the Republic and the end of the Jedi Order.
In the years following Anakin's betrayal, Obi-Wan goes into exile on Tatooine, where he watches over Anakin’s son, Luke Skywalker, in secret. Though Obi-Wan remains committed to the Jedi teachings, he is haunted by the loss of his Padawan and the failure to prevent the rise of the Sith.
Family:
Late Master: Qui-Gon Jinn (mentor and spiritual father)
Former Padawan: Anakin Skywalker (now Darth Vader, Obi-Wan’s greatest heartbreak)
Anakin’s Padawan: Ahsoka Tano (Obi-Wan cares deeply for her as well, having mentored her in Anakin’s absence)
Blood Brother: Obi-Wan has a mysterious blood brother from his past, but he has no memory of him and rarely speaks about it.
Obi-Wan’s family is mostly defined by his relationships within the Jedi Order. His mentor, Qui-Gon, shaped much of Obi-Wan’s wisdom and philosophy, and his connection to Anakin remains the most painful and significant of his life.

The Jedi Order: Obi-Wan is loyal to the Jedi Code and lives by its tenets, believing in its principles of peace, justice, and responsibility.

Dislikes:
Flying: Despite his skills as a pilot, Obi-Wan loathes flying, preferring the calm of the Jedi Temple over space travel.
