muse a and muse b used to be in love, in a perfect relationship with the smallest of arguments every once in a while—until an incident of cheating caused the couple's downfall. they were in high school at the time, muse a a well-known student with a large circle of friends. muse b, however, always lacked confidence and didn't get nearly as much attention until the two started dating. when they broke up, a while later, it left a hole in both of their hearts. fast forward five or so years, it's wintertime. while muse b drives home from their winter break vacation spot, a blizzard hits. this isn't any blizzard, though, it's unpredictable and unstoppable, nearly burying the area in snow. the visibility level is zero, and the country roads are slippery, causing them to swerve and crash their car—into the fence surrounding the house belonging to their ex, muse a. caught in the terrible snowstorm, muse b doesn't have the time to think and make rational decisions, so they walk up to muse a's door, apologizing profusely and begging to stay at the house until the blizzard ceases. after a bit of bickering, muse a reluctantly accepts, and they end up sharing an eventful week together, snowed in. perhaps they'll decide on giving each other a chance?
