Despite his friendly attitude, he is much more insecure about
himself. He dislikes being stared at, which is an all-too-
common occurrence, and he tends to tense up if he thinks
someone istalking about him behind his back. He's sensitive,

shared history;
Alex and Deren were born together on June 6th, making them both, twistedly, Geminis. There was always a certain layer of animosity displayed towards them by their nuclear family. Their mother never quite knew what to do with them, and their father left to serve in the military when they were quite young. They grew up together in a quiet attic room, with books, a TV, and plenty of old junk. Their mother feared sending them to public school, so she recruited the aid of her older sister, Agatha, a retired schoolteacher and violinist. Their aunt Agatha gave them their education and became a prominent figure in their lives, teaching them what they needed and helping them mature without the influence of the outside world. They very rarely went out in public, their only company typically being each other and visits from their aunt.

Their aunt cultivated in them both a love of literature and music. Reading was their favorite activity; it was their way of escaping the confines of their world and getting away from each other. When they wanted to get away or fought with each other, reading was their method of holing themselves up. Alex's love of literature was what inspired him to start writing poetry, and for Deren it was a away to sate his hunger for new knowledge. Deren became fascinated with the technical ins-and-outs of their condition, which was what led him on path of medical and anatomical fascination. They both grew to like the outdoors, Deren watching the weather and clouds, and Alex loving flowers and plants. Their confinement was likely a major cause for this fascination with the elusive outside world.

When they were both 16, they got into a car accident. Alex, sitting on the outside, was hit with the brunt of the force and ended up with a fairly severe head injury. Deren was cut by several shards of glass, and he broke several of his ribs when he hit the floor with the force of all their combined 270 pounds of weight. Both the twins survived, but Alex needed several moths to fully recover. He had a concussion and needed cranial surgery, and still occasionally has stutters and spasms.

She can move things similarly to those with telekinesis, and can potentially disintegrate objects or change their size, shape, and composition. She can also teleport herself, other people, and other objects, and has the potential ability to replicate herself or change significant qualities about her physical form, including her size and body density. This also enables her to potentially recover from virtually any injury, potentially including being entirely disintegrated. However, if she is unwilling to actively heal herself, she can still die from mortal wounds and will recover normally otherwise.
Clairvoyance - Christie has the ability to see into different temporal states, including the future, past, and even alternate timelines, as well as the potential to perceive her surroundings in multiple temporal states at once, essentially viewing the past, present, and future simultaneously. Certain things (or individuals) have the ability to block this, including Christie herself, who has semi-consciously built a shield to prevent herself from using this power. However, like maintaining her human disguise, this requires at least some degree of effort, and though it is mostly subconscious it can be broken if she is particularly distressed.
Tachyon Shield - The invisible 'wall' Christie has built between herself and her own clairvoyance incidentally also makes it nearly impossible for others with the same or similar powers to perceive her through temporal states. She cannot be fully perceived in the past, future, or through parallel timelines, and those who are particularly tachyon-sensitive may feel a strong sense of disorientation around her or even have trouble focusing on her in the present.
Combat Training - Trained in hand-to-hand combat and acrobatics by her mother and adoptive father, Christie is more than capable of handling herself in a fight and navigating city streets and rooftops. Adam had quite the strict upbringing; his
father was a military man, a former soldi
er who taught Adam the values of discipl
ine and hard work from a young age - th
ough not always with kindness and under
standing in tow. Adam grew strong and in
dependent, proud of the survival skills hi
s father had taught him, but lacking the
emotional connections he longed for. His
father was aware of the Harvest Lake pa
cks but had left Black Pine long ago. It w
as there that Adam later returned, thoug
h his father disapproved, leading to a fal
lout between them. Adam put his training
to good use as a member of the pack, be
ing appointed the patroller captain, a rol
