history leopardwave was born to lionstrike and blackclaw, both of pure clan blood. his life was fine until he was 5 moons, when his mother found out that blackclaw had fallen in love with another cat, the deputy, dappledpelt. it didnt take long for lionstrike to find out and loose her mind. blackclaw left her, and she left the clan without a word to anyone even leaving leopardwave alone.

it wasnt long until dappledpelt was in the nursery caring for him and the kits in her stomach, with her in the nursery so soon he knew an affair must have happened. he had one moon in there left with the deputy and her kits. stubborn and wanting revenge he went to apprinticeship.

while he left the kits she had became apprentices, and when he was a warrior it wasnt long before they followed. by now dappledpelt was dappledstar with a senior warrior as her deputy. not to later a battle came out between badgers and the clan, blackclaw and the deputy passed while dappledstar last her second to last life.

without hesitation she appointed mottledthorn as her deputy, as mothcloud wanted nothing to do with leading, and mottledthorn was the only one left she trusted.

moons later a horrible storm hit the clan taking the leaders last life, moving mottledstar to leader. surprisingly she appointed leopardwave as her deputy and later told him she cant change the past or others actions but she can try to make things better.
