Celestia Deamonne started life as a simple cat somewhere in a coastal town in Eastern Asia. At some point, she had found herself on a boat that docked in the United States. Cel was often treated badly by the humans in the town where the boat had docked, after several years enough hostility grew in her that demonic energies were drawn to the town. She was possessed by such energy leading to a painful transformation into a demonic cat. In the decades following the transformation, she was hunted down by people and dogs alike until one day she lay bleeding on the side of the road, clinging to life. It was then, that her master, found her and in order to save her life, made her their familiar. In the beginning, she was extremely hostile towards her new master before eventually warming up to the witch, though it took a decade. Cel is a secretive individual, her biggest secret has been kept for nearly a hundred years and could drive a wedge between her and her master. To newcomers, she seems frigid and gruff but to those who know her well that she does it out of trust issues and being protective of her master and the coven. She is silently caring and flinches at affection that lasts too long unless it is from her master or someone far younger than her. Due to her age, she's quite powerful and often gives energy transferrence if another familiar is weakened. Celestia is extremely intrapersonal and is often confused about others' emotions and actions though she does try.

Brendan Tian Yao was born the youngest child of Nolan Wu, a criminal prosecutor, and Alison Wu, a florist. He had a relatively happy and normal childhood, he got along with his older brother and a close relationship with both of his parents. Though his parents divorced when he was in middle school due to the fact that his father was rarely at home. His father moved into an apartment near his work but still stayed close with his sons. His mother married a year later and they moved into his step-father's home, his little sister was born when he was a freshman. Things didn't get bad until the middle of his senior year in high school when his father was murdered by a person that he had sent to prison. Seeing as he was extremely close to his father, he was heavily affected by his father's murder and completely changed as a result. Before the death of his father, Ren was an outgoing and talkative individual who tried to befriend everyone he came into contact with. He was extremely trusting, gullible, and easily excited and affectionate; he was a human ray of sunshine. But after the murder, he became aloof and quiet, almost stopped talking altogether, and withdrew from all of the clubs he was in. Against his mother's wishes, he didn't go to college despite getting into 3 out 5 that he had previously applied to. Instead, he moved out of his stepfather's house and moved to California, at first he worked at a cafe in the morning and a bar-restaurant but after a few months, he was scouted by a modeling agency. It was the first time in a long time that Brendan had actually enjoyed something, he slowly regained his smile and his sunny personality returned somewhat but nowhere near what it was before the death of his father.

Qeme 'Jem' Nalkaell was born and raised on the planet of Radon by his maternal uncle, Zenui, and his wife Temra after the death of his mother when he was only a year old. From a young age, Qeme struggled with his strong telepathic abilities and lacked the control to keep up a mental shield leading him to be almost constantly overwhelmed. Throughout his schooling, he had difficulties with the majority of his classes due to him accidentally slipping into the minds of other students leaving him dazed. The only class he did quite well in was his language classes but he found them often to be too easy which led him to slack off. This doesn't mean Qeme is in any way stupid, in fact, he is far from it, he just struggles to filter out the thoughts of others when he is in a crowd. When he was in higher education, his aunt and uncle had moved to a smaller class and his grades raised rapidly. He graduated near the top of his class and recruited to join the team much to his surprise, thankfully in a noncombatant role of communications. Jem is a quiet passive individual who prefers to follow the lead of others rather than have any role that requires him to tell anyone what to do. He tends to stick close to his fellow team members as he is able to focus easier in their presence. Qeme usually looks like he's pouting or about to cry which isn't intentional, his face just naturally rests in a kicked puppy expression. As he was quite sheltered as a child he tends to be slightly gullible as well as often seeking the praise of his teammates. He's also quite oblivious when someone flirts with him unless they are alone where he can zone into the other person and realize their intentions.

He tries his best to avoid reading the minds of his team members when he doesn't have their permission though he picks up the occasional stray thought if they are thinking it loudly enough.
