To become the Spider means to set out an intricately laid trap and wait patiently for the one you want to be snared. Of course, it's not always the one you want who ends up tangled in the web but in the pursuit of revenge what does it matter? In one version of events she was stolen as a baby and raised by thieves, in another she and her mother were kicked out of the house after it was found her mother had an affair, running away to follow her lover who turned around and abandoned her, a tragic accident involving a coach. Whenever she's asked Spider has more stories to share as to how she ended up a con-woman twisting trusting travellers around her finger. No one knows which one is the truth and that is the way she likes it, if no one knows your story it can't be used against you. The young girl Kiran witnessed exactly what trust and kindness get you and in the pursuit of revenge, she won't make the same mistake.

She's still a bit of a newcomer to this band of thieves, and for
now she's using her varied skills to keep her in the good
graces of the other members. Trust isn't earned overnight
and it's that trust that she needs to lure out her target.

Niamh is a gentle soul who is always ready to help others so much so
that she tends to forget to take time for herself. Those who know her
tend to agree that she has an “old soul”. She would prefer to sit and
watch rather than be in the middle of things. (But she will always
agree to at least one dance.) Niamh isn’t always the best about
holding her tongue and has gotten herself in trouble a few times due
to her sharp tongue. With the habit of being a wallflower, she often
spots trouble before it happens and does her best to interfere before
it gets out of hand. She has a sweet laugh and a bright smile which
puts those around her at ease.

Niamh (pronounced as neeve) grew up in a small town in North Eastern Scotland with her small family. Both of her parents worked, and she was often left with her grandmother who Niamh adored. Her grandmother would tell her all sorts of stories and legends, but the two that Niamh was always giddy for were the ones about the Fae and the Wulver on Shetland. Her grandmother taught her the old ways of healing; the gifts that the Earth had given her children to use. By the time she went off to college for a Botany degree, she knew how to make salves for burns and achy joints, tinctures to help with coughs, and tonics to aid in sleep. It was the winter break before graduation when her grandmother asked her to join her in the woods one evening. Niamh remembers a sharp pain and a howl of a wolf.
With a hidden bite on her ankle and a love/hate relationship with her grandmother, Niamh returned to finish school. Not able to stay in her old town after graduation, she packed up her things in her old Chevy truck before letting the wild tell her where to settle down. It didn’t take long for her to find her way Elgin, There she made a home for herself both with humans and more importantly with the secret wolf pack. .
